How about paddle wheelers? Here's a basic floorplan map of the Showboat Branson Belle, which is primarily designed as a floating dinner theater: http://www.silverdollarcity.com/showboat-branson/map

That is is a touch bigger than I am looking for but I can play around with it. Might go and do this as my game is an arabesque bookhounds of london game and I like the idea of this boat on the Thames. Could even be a boat from the dreamlands. Might be too over the top but hey why do subtle.

I am looking for floor plans for a medium size river boat (illegal gambling den). Most of the plans I have seen are for either very small boats or way to large (cruise ships). I need to poke around some more diligently but if anyone has a good pointer I would appreciate it.

A friend of mine has a pair of these shoes and they are great looking and very comfortable (he claims) although expensive. Had I not just ratchet down my patreon/kickstarter expenditures I would be into this for a pair of shoes as opposed to a token backing but hopeful a few of your will be able to let your atheist flag fly.

In prep for a Bookhounds of London game I am planning on running (first session is this Sunday and man am I behind) I am reading The Club Dumas by Arturo Perez-Reverte. I would not qualify it as great but it is a fun read, sort of a beach book for the library set. I am going to have to go and watch The Ninth Gate again after I am done. I don't remember it being great so it will be interesting to see how it stands up after reading the source material.

Could be a more Dresden Files/Ozark Obelisk-oriented story seed, but of course rich people digging up subterranean secrets is a pretty nice Lovecraftian trope, too.

Or batman.

I actually prefer the Chaosium version of the yellow sign but I like the idea there are many different signs.

Regarding the elder sign I do have a preference for the branch style rather than five pointed star one but again like the idea multiple signs.

I have not seen that Yellow Sign before although that one is pretty nice if indeed that is what that is.

I'm in for the whole hog, $160 reward tier. I've always wanted to play this game.

I did not go whole hog but only went a half rack of ribs. I am trying to back less kickstarters the rest of this year as I went in pretty heavy on the Delta Green, Kult, Best of Fenix, and a few other non gaming projects I have dropped way to much recently. I expect I will back Red Markets at some reasonable level as well.

Kult is getting a reboot and is currently kickstarting. I fear my memories of this game (I think I still have a copy boxed up somewhere) are colored by having it occur so long ago and also having been 17 when I read the book and ran the game but it has my money and many other folks as well.

RPGs / Pagan Publishing back catalog
« on: March 01, 2016, 01:51:58 PM »
I am looking to obtain a copy of Pagan Publishing The Golden Dawn. There are a number of sources online to purchase it but thought I would see if anyone in RPPR forum land was willing to sell their copy. I am not trying to get a deal here so willing to pay market rate, currently there are 3 copies on the Amazon Marketplace for $90 for books in good condition so that is the price I am looking to pay. Will of course cover shipping and handling.

I am close to getting done with Madness on the Orient Express. Some of the stories seem to stretch the theme a bit but overall recommended. High point for me is Ken Hite's story that mashed up the Orient Express, The Phantom of the Opera, the King in Yellow, and fandom.

Black Mountain Side follows a group of archaeologists after they uncover a strange structure in Northern Canada, dating over ten thousand years before the present. The team finds themselves isolated when their communication systems fail and it is not long before they begin to feel the effects of the solitude.

I just watched this via Amazon rental. I thought it was pretty good but I am sucker for movies set in the artic.
