OK, had no luck with this here but have managed to start it on on "another RPG website" which I won't mention as I'll probably get bitch slapped for doing so.

Sad I couldn't get it going here but such is life eh.

From a totally high level it's a mission with various 'things' that have to be done, and there are Terminators doing the 'things' that they have to do.  The two sides will have crossovers of interactivity and may or may not be after the opposite outcome.

I'm not going to put anything else on it as that will spoil the storyline. :-X  Suffice to say that the movies are all about "Save the cheerleader... erm, I mean save John Connor."  This isn't about that, it's about tertiary but still very important 'things'.

I hope that is sufficiently vague! *ahem*

I listened to an AP with Turdtles in it...  Loads of superheroes and villains.  Players got the chance to "phone up" whoever they wanted, they went for the A Team, MacGuiver (wtf?!), and a few others.  There was no terminator in it though - not to my memory anyway.

Well I've got a game kicking off on the recruitment boards at the moment, so far I have a one person signed up, and need about 3 or 4 more.  All and sundry are welcome, so tell friend, heck, tell people that aren't your friends I just want to get the game off the ground.

Some seem to think that there is little that can be done within the Teminator 'mythos', I say 'PANTS!"  There's tonnes that can be done.  With the availability of time travel to both sides anything's possible!  What if Steve Jobs or Bill Gates were Terminators?!  :o

Anyway, enough from me, if anyone's interested please come say so on the recruitment forum (linked below), I'd be delighted to have you along.

It'll be far more along the lines of the first two movies and the TV series so you're in luck mate.  These terminators are HARD to kill, that's the premise of the whole genre imo, and a lot of lateral thinking and cunning will be needed to down it/them.

Glad to have you on board, just need to recruit/coerce/bribe/bully a few more to join up and we'll be on our way.

OK, I have a character ready to go, backstory is 80% there, it's a bit of an oddity for me in its style but that should help both you as the GM to cause trouble and me to (hopefully) enjoy it.  He's a Medic/Covert Operative, ex-Alliance (yeah yeah, keep your booing down, I said EX-Alliance).

Where do you want me to send the character?

Game Title: Terminator - Guardians of Time

System: Not really using any one in particular, it is based around concepts in the free d20 Terminator Rulebook found at http://www.terminatorfiles.com/interact/fa.../gaming_001.htm  Bear in mind however, this is NOT going to be run under a d20 system.
Players Wanted: 4-5
Posting Rate: Once every 2 days
Special Rules: Yes, a set I've written based on a few systems and the bastardisation of the Terminator Rulebook as mentioned above.
Advancement Rules: Semi-standard increase of HP, Skills and Traits

I'll post the character generator ruleset if I get enough interest! :)

And yes, I realise that the title of the game (Guardians of Time) could essentially mean absolutely anything.

I have a copy of the rules at home and would love to play.  I have a few ideas for a character but before I jump head and shoulders in to this... is there still space?

In spite of a dire performance from "Mr breathing shallow to sound tough" (Christian Fail), I'm still a huge fan of the terminator scene.  (I'm actually kicking off a forum based game of it elsewhere!)

Anyway, I just thought I'd mention that I'd found a free d20 system download for it, and it's a pretty good system too!

Just in case you guys and gals care, here's the link...

Oh... and as a hint...  Actual Play of a Termintor genre game...   EPIC!

Went a bit mad over the last few months.  Bought Shadowrun plus 6 sourcebooks, Serenity RPG, Traveller RPG, and 2 Paranoia books.

[gets on soapbox]
Personally I have no issue with the 'colourful' language, and to reiterate the message, if you find this colour offensive (gotta love a play on words!) then it's your choice to turn it off and don't listen.

However, if you choose to sit through the whole thing and then whine about it, then you're offending my ears with your 'whining maggot' comments that's not fair to me as I have to read at least half of your <insert expletive>ing words before I get the chance to stop reading, write your name down and delete you from my life.

[/off soapbox]

Oh, and on a more general note, I love the show and the Actual Play sessions are brilliant, don't ever stop.
