Was Blacksat the one with the weird living anti-matter creatures or whatever? I played in a game with Stolze that went into space, and I'm pretty sure it was DG. I remember feeling like it was similar to Artifact Zero in the "sudden panic scenario with little to no recourse" sense, but maybe we're talking about different games?

Edit: yeah, just checked my GenCon reg emails from last year and I did indeed also play in "Blacksat". I was the lady doctor. I might have survived? I know I at least almost died. I'm not sure how much I liked it as a scenario, but Greg did a good job of running it for what it was.

Games I got into:

D&D 5th, Numenera, Delta Green with G. Stolze, 1936 trail of Cthulhu game. Unofficially part of some LARP a friend is running on Friday night too. But I managed to leave Thursday night open for the meetup!

I am really looking forward to A Very Thorough Murder part 3. It's been damned good so far. Major kudos to GM and players.

Cool. I'll be there assuming that I don't do incredibly well in the Netrunner tournament.

I can probably stop by to say hi before 9, but I have a game from 9pm-1am.

Busch?! Son, I'm from Wisconsin. If this thing is going to happen, then I'm going to make sure we use actual decent beer.

As far as games to play, I say everyone brings a case of cheap beer and we play DrunkQuest until only one is left standing. I may be alone in advocating for that though  :)

Are you talking about DrinkingQuest? I just looked it up and it sounds like the mightiest fusion of bro and gamer. Alternatively, it's a beer & pretzels game that emphasizes the beer. That said, I'm probably in.

I mean, I'm getting a bit of a cognitive disconnect from seeing it too. But on the other hand, it being there doesn't exactly impinge on GenCon being a gaming convention, so, whatever.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

^ What the hell? Why do people think this is a good venue for that? The *crowd* is a different story, and I have no doubt that there are lot of gamers in the kink scene. But why GenCon?

Anyway, check this out. It's an improved version of the catalog, and much more searchable: http://gencon.highprogrammer.com/gencon-indy-2013.cgi

Preemptive Revenge was incredibly creepy and unsettling in a way that I'm not sure Caleb has managed in the past. Very good for an improvised game with a two and a half hour prep time. I can't wait to see what 'monster' he comes up with next.

The Long Island game was hilarious. I love how at first, the players glossed over the fact that it was still prohibition but they went for the (illegal) bar to start drinking anyway, as if it were normal.

M-51 Engineer's Bag
Call of Cthulhu 6th Ed
Wild Talents
Dirty World

Arc Dream owes RPPR big time.

@ AmishNinja

I'm going to release Dangers of Fraternization already, without a stretch goal. It will be the first entry on hebanongames.com, to sort of tide people over until we get No Security. Nothing fancy, but...you know...free.

Cool.

The forum's running a bit slow, so I can't check if this was already asked, but: how did the name "Hebanon Games" come about?

Assuming it's alright with Stolze: a release of your Dangers of Fraternization game.

More suggestions to come if I think of anything. I'm pumpt as heck for the skype game btw.

So, did anybody manage to get tickets to the events they wanted? I sure didn't!
