« on: April 21, 2011, 06:51:40 PM »
Anyone interested in jumping into a NWOD game over Skype tomorrow at 7pm EST (Friday, April 22)?

The Storyteller has pregens ready (6 in total). We have two confirmed players and need at least two more. Anyone interested? Feel free to PM me or email at nerdboundpodcast@gmail.com

Veterans or novices are fine. I've never played. The other guy has a bunch.

RPGs / Savage Worlds - Zombiepocalypse Skype Game (SHORT NOTICE)
« on: January 01, 2011, 05:37:32 PM »
I've got two players lined up for a Skype game tomorrow at 11AM EST over Skype.  It's the first time I've run SW and figured how hard can zombies eating people be?  Pregens are ready to go.  This is going to be "realistic" or more likely movielike.  PM me if interested or email nerdboundpodcast@gmail.com

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Dark Sun Campaign
« on: September 06, 2010, 09:24:10 PM »
Damn you Ross.  I just listened to the new episode and we were also planning on running a Dark Sun campaign with the potential for rotating DMs.  I swear it was totally independent of your idea (Jason is even running rather than me to start).  It does scare me that our groups came up with the same thing at the same time.  Freaky.

Anyway, Tondi on the NerdBound forums is also starting a new idea as well.  Players can sign up for Skype one-shots that will help build out an overall world depending on the decisions they make and how successful they are.  I'm pretty booked up right now, but I'd love to listen to some episodes if people get them together.

Check it out at http://www.dndsmash.com

RPGs / Trail of Cthulhu Pick Up Game (Sunday, June 20)
« on: June 18, 2010, 08:24:26 PM »
I'm putting together a Skype Trail of Cthulhu game for this Sunday around 2PM EST.  I need one more player if possible and could take 2-3 conceivably.  Pregens are ready to go and it's a published scenario.  One shot focused on a group of naval officers during an atomic bomb test gone awry (1950's).  Please don't read the scenario  :)

PM me if you are interested.  It will be recorded for NerdBound, which will feature Ross' Delta Green game next week!  Let's keep the Lovecraftian horrors coming.

RPGs / Trail of Cthulhu Pregens
« on: March 30, 2010, 09:36:45 PM »
Anyone have Trail of Cthulhu pregens created that I could use?  I want to run a one-shot, but it's a hassle trying to make a balanced party when you aren't terribly familiar with the game system.

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Ichor Falls

I definitely have to check the book out.  The reading Ross did was so very creepy to me.  It reminded me of an infamous episode of Webster (yes the short African American child who was an adorable little scamp) that scarred me for life.  Webster is with his dad in some mansion.  He starts sneaking around and finds a secret passage that leads to a room with a little girl sitting in a chair facing a window.  He talks with her the whole episode because the man that owned the mansion was supposed to have a daughter.  At the end of the episode, Webster goes up to the girl and turns the chair around and it's a life-sized doll of a little girl that is fashioned after the guy's daughter.  I literally never watched that show again.

It wasn't until college that I searched the interwebs to make sure I wasn't crazy and dreamed up that episode.  There were several message boards and forums that had people commiserating about how horrifying that episode was.  It probably has a lot to do with me hating puppets and dolls so much now.  They're creepy little things.

« on: February 22, 2010, 10:56:12 PM »
Just thought I'd let everyone know that we put up our new www.nerdbound.com.  Say hi on our forums if you need another place to talk about random crap.

Our iTunes feed will automatically transfer over.  If you subscribe some other way, please add the new feed www.nerdbound.com/feed

Thanks again to Ross for the recommendation.  The new hosting solution is great.

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Promo/bumper
« on: January 31, 2010, 10:48:58 PM »
Just thought I'd say thanks for running our promo.  Your promo from the rpgpodcasters group will be featured in our next episode, which happens to be Rogue Trader follow-up.  It seems especially appropriate as much of the organization was done on the forums here and we have a continuing thread for between game gaming.

General Chaos / NerdBound Promos and Bumpers
« on: January 12, 2010, 04:53:53 PM »
I recently became slightly less lazy and recorded two promos (posted to the file section of the RPG Podcasters Yahoo Group) and a handful of bumpers for other podcasts I've talked to.  If anyone (Ross maybe?) would like to include one of our promos in their podcast, feel free to download them from the Yahoo Group or email nerdboundpodcast@gmail.com.  I'd also be happy to record a bumper for your show if you prefer.

I know a lot of folks are on the forums here, so this doesn't apply only to RPPR.  Even if the majority of our episodes feature a New World campaign.
