The contrast of the chat and the stream is weird and amazing

Has anyone got any extra room  in their hotel they're looking to fill (Obviously I'm willing to pay)? I've slept on the floor before so I'm not particularly concerned about that, and I figure that if one of you has his mind set on a bit of 'Orrible murder this thread will act as a paper trail to find my corpse.

1 for whatever playtest has room in it please. My schedule is pretty clear right now as I have never even been to Gencon so most of it is just penciled in as "Gawk at all the nerds".

It's a Lovecraft adventure game from the makers of Scratches and Asylum. Need I say more? Yes, I do, they've signed on S.T. Joshi as their consultant.

Why are you still reading this? You should have backed already.

I'm not sure that he'll survive those other events, though; poor bastard's luck is bound to run out sooner or later.

I think you mean that the poor bastard is bound to finally get lucky sooner or later.

The priest blushes slightly at the imprecation. "Oh I am sorry good sir, not ideal way to begin a conversation. You see, it concerns one of your daughter's friends, miss Blood, I'm sure you know her. She has gotten caught up in some terrible business and your daughter was one of the last people seen with her. The good Colonel thought that rather than doing something as gouache as getting the constabulary involved, he might send someone of a higher standing to ascertain the details of the unfortunate business"   At the mention of "Higher standing" the Priest adjusts his collar in a pointedly nonchalant fashion.

7
I put on my best Boston Brahmin accent and ask "Good morning sir, my name is Father Fitzpatrick, would it possible for me to speak to your daughter?"

8
I ring the doorbell

9
I give a sly smile and hold up my own sheet of paper. "Just the names of Miss Blood's lunching companions before she was taken, the colonel was less than enthusiastic about giving them up, but he acquiesced, provided we keep our good wretch on a tighter leash." And I once again give Cormac a look that is half pity, half fascination.

10
Shaemus takes in the situation unfolding before him, standing silently for a moment, taking in the inexplicable situation before him before deciding that Colin is the debacle of the moment. "Why are you picking through that trash bin son?"

11
The priest quietly gets up and dusts off his jacket. "Thank you very much sir, we will be sure not to be too harsh with the ladies delicate constitutions. Now if you'll excuse me, I'll just go and check in with my erstwhile associates. He slips out of the room as his malfeasance sense ticks away at him.

12
The previously composed priest calmly looks to his right, before his normally unfocused eyes focus balefully on Cormac. "Please excuse my acquaintance, his wretched state is not fully of his own making, but is there anything or anyone you can think of, for the sake of your daughter?"
(Asking a favor)

13
"Colonel, If you don't mind me asking, you seemed to become more than a little unsettled at my mention of enemies. Are you sure there is no one who might have a personal motive to pursue a vendetta against yourself?"

14
I nod politely and ask more questions (I'll just list all of them for convenience)
1."Do you have any personal enemies"
2. "Did your daughter have any personal enemies or jilted suitors?"
3. "Have you experienced any previous harassment, blackmail, etc..."
4. "Do have any idea who might have done this?"

15
I take a seat in whatever looks like the most comfortable chair and steeple my fingers, pointedly avoiding the tea and cakes.

"So Colonel , I know this is a rather difficult time for you, but let us start with the basics. When and where was your daughter last seen?"
