DracoStrife is my Minecraft username.  I can vouch for Gamerprolc, he's a good friend of mine.

This is certainly helpful, I'm still a GenCon newb here.  I want to make sure I actually get booked in the hotel this time.  Appreciate the post Tadanori!

Is there running any games this year.  That was something I'm thinking of trying out.

Very interesting.  Looks like they're taking a page out of Paizo's book as far as playtesting is concerned.  I wonder how they're going to change up the rules this time?

Let the speculation begin!!

General Chaos / Re: Source book release party for Outbreak Undead in L.A.

This actually sounds like a lot of fun!  I should be able to attend.  That's pretty cool to throw a big party for the Outbreak guys, like this Jace.  I'm sure they appreciate it!

Too many to count for me now.  I got to try out the Old Republic weekend beta as well.  I miss my Sith Inquisitor so much now...

Anyway, juggling between Skyrim and Saints Row: The Third.

And Ross, that picture is why I don't mess with Giants...

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: Campaign for 2011-2012

Oh, and while I definitely stand behind Mysteries of MesoAmerica... The scenarios are pretty cool, but they have very different styles, geographical locations, and chronological timeframes... my read of them does not have them flowing well together as a single campaign. Plus that one scenario *WILL* kill all your players. See either Ross's AP on the main site or my AP on the community site if you have doubts.

They don't call the Well of Sacrifice the "Boneyard" for nothing!

Out in the Norwalk - Whittier area near the 605 and 5 freeways.

Vagueness for the win.  ::)

Ok so Deus Ex: Human Revolution, first impressions:

Gameplay: Smooth as butter, viciously smart AI who are quick to flank, seek cover, chuck grenades, and will *kill your ass dead*. Jensen is *not* a bulletsponge, and dies in a few hits.

Yeah, learned that the hard way several times:

*BLAM BLAM BLAM BLAM* *Thud*

Ooh yeah, Dermal Armor for sure.

General Chaos / Re: Your Local Game Shop Shout-Outs.

GEEKS Comics in Whittier, California is my store of choice.  I head there every Saturday for D&D (or whatever the game of the week is).

Aside from all the comic books, the store owner is really expanding his RPG stock.  Lots of cool new games that unfortunately I have no money for (Damn you GenCon!).

Hey I had fun meeting all you guys at the con.  This was my first year at GenCon and I was still trying to get over the hurdle of how the hell everything worked.  Note to self: sign up to games early.

Goddamn that exhibition hall was a black hole, spent most of my time in there instead of going to all the seminars I had signed up to.

Wish I could have stuck around for Ross' improv game, next time for sure.

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: Where do you listen to RPPR?
« on: February 28, 2011, 05:04:54 PM »
I listen to the podcasts through my iPhone at work mostly.  I'm pretty sure my coworkers give me strange looks as I start busting up laughing at all the shenanigans that goes on in the Actual Plays.

Actually, listening to the RPPR Actual Plays is what got me interested in running Call of Cthulhu and Monsters.  Thanks guys! :D

Well, I mean, the show's eventually going to end. Once Ross is publishing holoscripts in Neo-Hollywood he's gonna be too busy with snorting syn-coke off of alien hookers to do a podcast, which in 2032 replaces Ham Radio as the losers 'sport' of choice. Mid-West Podcast Thunderdome could be, like, a get together in a couple decades. See old friends. Kill them. You know, fun. For us.

Wow, now I'm actually looking forward to the dystopian Cyberpunk future! :D
