The now-defunct Hellblazer comics occasionally do a mixture of horror and mythology. While Garth Ennis's run gets most of the attention (and deservedly so), the Paul Jenkins run draws more from Arthurian/Albion mythology and Mike Carey's run throws some Celtic stuff in as well.

I'll need to add Song of Kali to my reading list. I loved Simmons's Hyperion Cantos.

My goal is to get through Arthur Machen's Tales of Horror and the Supernatural Volume 1, which I picked up on a trip to California this past summer. It is good but it is a slow read, especially since I prefer to read the stories in a single sitting and I have a lot of school work (but Fall Break starts this Thursday, so I should have time).

I'm also reading through a newish translation of The Odyssey by Simon Armitage. It was commissioned by the BBC as a radio drama, and Armitage also published the script. It's an easy and fast read.

There has got to be some inspiration here for No Security: Revelations 2.

Edit: Sorry, I meant to put this in the video thread, but loaded the wrong page.

If you are a complete Doctor Who nut, you may be familiar with Big Finish. They are a British company that produces audio dramas. Well, they just got the license to produce Pathfinder stories, and their first series is an adaptation for Rise of the Rune Lords. I'm excited to see what they do with these.

If you like Aaron Diaz and his comic Dresden Codak (http://dresdencodak.com/), he is beginning a comic novel called Star Wars 1999 (http://starwars1999.tumblr.com/) in which he reimagines the Star Wars prequels from scratch.

The Pixar Theory: http://jonnegroni.com/2013/07/11/the-pixar-theory/

The basic premise is that all Pixar movies are connected; they take place in the same universe but at different points in time.

Granted. You must now spend your time in jail as you wait for your trial. (You know what you did.)

I wish I could get over this jet lag.
