If you are interested in joining post here and/or pm me, I'll try to respond  quickly to you.
We will be using Skype, and it will be a voice call so for those that are uncomfortable with that there you go, thanks for your interest.
The sessions will be on Tuesday's starting at around 6:30pm(EST), and ending around 10:30pm(EST)

The Majority of City & Character Creation will be; May, 10th
The First Actual Session will be; May, 17th

The Big 16

Dresden Files RPG : FATE

2. What 'type' or variant of game will it be (i.e. "Shadow Chasers" or "Agents of Psi" for d20 Modern)? What is the setting for the game (eg. historic period, published or homebrewed campaign setting, alternate reality, modern world, etc.)?
Umm its Urban Fantasy, oh and the city will be Montreal

3. How many Players are you looking for? Will you be taking alternates, and if so, how many?
2 to 3 players
This is not first come first serve; it's who has the best ideas and can commit the time to a campaign.

4. What's the gaming medium (OOTS, chat, e-mail etc.)?
As already noted Skype calls, on Tuesdays.

5. What is the characters' starting status (i.e. experience level)?

6. How much gold or other starting funds will the characters begin with?
Standard things for a FATE game.
I.E if you have the resources you can probably have it, within reason

7. Are there any particular character classes, professions, orders, etc. that you want... or do not want? What are your rules on 'prestige' and/or homebrewed classes?
No Knights of the Cross(The swords are busy)
No Faerie Knight of the Wyld Hunt(Long story and leave it at that)

8. What races, subraces, species, etc. are allowed for your game? Will you allow homebrewed races or species? 'Prestige' races or species?
Its Dresden/FATE so be fun.

9. By what method should Players generate their attributes/ability scores and Hit Points?
Spend your skills points as  you wish.
Custom Stunts need my approval

10. Does your game use alignment? What are your restrictions, if so?
No. But if your a jerk then it will have consequences to how people respond to you.

11. Do you allow multi-classing, or have any particular rules in regards to it?
FATE

12. Will you be doing all of the die rolling during the course of the game? Will die rolls be altered, or left to the honor system? If players can make die rolls, which ones do they make, how should they make the rolls, and how should they report them?
We will be using an online die roller during the game

13. Are there any homebrewed or optional/variant rules that your Players should know about? If so, list and explain them, or provide relevant links to learn about these new rules.
Ummm yes/no
If you got a good idea run it past me and we will talk about it

14. Is a character background required? If so, how big? Are you looking for anything in particular (i.e. the backgrounds all ending up with the characters in the same city)?
FATE so yes you need a background because you need aspects

15. Does your game involve a lot of hack & slash, puzzle solving, roleplaying, or a combination of the above?
It will come down to your choices you can solve things peacefully or not.
There will be people and you can deal with them as you want.

16. Are your Players restricted to particular rulebooks and supplements, or will you be allowing access to non-standard material? What sources can Players use for their characters?
The Dresden Files FATE books

Recruitment Board / Guys its time for a ROAD TRIP!!
« on: May 24, 2013, 01:13:03 PM »
A Monster's & Other Childish Things Game
Using the great and awesome campaign Road Trip to start us off for a good campaign.
Road Trip is 5 scenarios. With various silly, crazy, serious, and/or horror based side encounters. Each scenario can be 1 session to 4 sessions.
I am planning for this beginning of the campaign being well.
Over summer like the titular Road Trip is

My Major Things
1: Using Skype, call cause you need to talk when playing monsters
1B: You need voice because other wise it all fall apart
1C: I will have up to 6 players for this campaign. No more, no more I already have a big group with the Wild Talents game. Minimum of 3 players

2: Kids can be 9-14. Lets try to keep them with 2 years of each other.
2B: I want kids to all be interesting characters. Maybe they have emotional issues or are jerks or just something that will make for great personalities
2C: You can be financially decent or poor. Nobody falling into rich

3: Follow the basic rules for kid and monster creation
3B: If you want to be a weird kid talk with me on it

4: The campaign will start in, Blowing Rock North Carolina. I choose a random name of a town in North Carolina
4B: Your home room teacher is Mr. Rowing(11-12 year olds), or Mrs. Smith(9-10 year olds)

5: We will start a few days before Summer Break(In Game)

6: The campaign will have to be on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday. The game can start at earliest
3-pm Eastern Standard Time. The game can start at latest 8-pm Eastern Standard Time. End times can go as late as midnight
What ever day and/or time would work best for the group

7: Ask any questions about things. Add comments on things I should add

8: Skype game. Cause I want you hear your lovely voices

Recruitment Board / Sunday Skype Game
« on: February 26, 2013, 04:11:15 PM »
So I'm opening up a Skype game on Sundays, probably after 6pm. So later at night.

Time: Sometime after 6pm(East Coast), On Sundays, every other week or weekly based on schedule and time

So I'm going to do this Skype game but I'm seeing what the interest is for

Games debating on which game to do

Wild Talents
-Basic back-story to New Arcadia. All the hero's are gone, recently(10 months), the old guard of Supers are all gone for no known reason. Starting 250 point characters

Little Fears
-Lets play Children!! Several scenarios from Campfire Tales and of my own creation. Have fun be kids and deal with monsters that do bad evil bad things.

Shadowrun
-Set in New York. Its a 4th edition Shadowrun game set in New York

So those are the 3 games, I'm going to probably run 1. Or maybe run 1 on alternating Sundays

Recruitment Board / Monster Files, Skype Game, Looking For Players
« on: December 17, 2012, 10:23:49 PM »
Monster Files

System: Monsters & Other Childish Things
Player Count: 3/8
Style of Play: Roleplay, some hack n slash, a dash of horror finished up with some sandboxyness
There are two books in the system for characters/players. So I'll assume you will be fine

Character Creation: Standard Monsters Kid, Weird Kid, or Psyche Kid
Back-story: Required, need how or why you are weird or have a monster, disposition among other things like family and relationships
Experience: Character, minimum age 11, max 15
Wealth: Your character can be from any economic walk of life
Skype game.
Time Every other Friday or Saturday.

Since that covers everything about some final notes. Don't be a tool. This will be my second time running Monsters the first was Road Trip. So I'm still getting used to a game where its more character focused.

Now the back-story going into it. Will be edited this is the rough what I came up with

Things went upside down fast in Newmarket.
You were normal and then the event happened which lead to you having this 'Psyche'. Heh or maybe you were never normal at all? Always a little weird did it finally fully manifest or was it always around the same with your friend hanging about.
Maybe your new to town and that weirdness has been something your more used to
Strange men started showing up around town. Dark glasses, black suits and a certain unease they put into people.
You started to see stranger things at night.
So something needs to be done to keep those black suited men that made someone already dissappear from finding you and the whole towns weird.
You need to either make them lose interest find why the towns weird or something else. Its just a normal school day with another bizarre set of circumstance.
Well keeping in check this thing, be it ability, creature, or something that is part of you.
And build the bonds of friendship camaraderie could be worse!

And my first post on the forums.
Also any questions you may have throw to me here or on skype.
