RPPR Flamewar

Holy shit, guys, I listened to this again and about dropped my shit.

Ross: I AM SPECIAL FORCES, I WILL FIND YOU AND KILL YOU!
Tom: Boy scouts doesn't count.

This had me laughing at my cubicle at work. Thanks, guys. Throw in little bits of this recording around the best of RPPR episodes and you've got lots of short filler gold between longer segments.
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."

RISE FROM YOUR GRAVE

finally figured out how to do this. Instead of animating it/doing a slideshow, I'll get actors to reenact these bits as a kind of improvised comedy skit.

I can't remember the name, but my favorite is the Delta Green game based in a mall that ended up being Carcosa. I like it for Cody's character, who was a parody of all the grizzled voice badass characters of recent years. The stuff he said in that voice, I couldn't breathe I laughed so hard. "I'm going to the toy store." "GODDAMN GOD!!!"

Sucrose Park: Princess Cowboy.

I just shot an improv skit of door to door otyugh salesmen trying to sell an otyugh to a gay couple (based on the otyughs for sale in the new world campaign)

The real beauty of this skit was that it was completely improved. We spent about five minutes generating character archetypes and then just went nuts. Somehow Tom and my characters went from being belligerent trolls to being furries. I'm still not sure how that happened.

I'm pretty sure the thing that had me laughing the most out of what I've listened to (about 40% of the site content) was Aaron and Tom's interaction in Bryson Springs (starting at about 1:13:30) that culminated in a fistfight and Aaron's professor character knocked out, shoeless, and handcuffed in the back of a police car with a mafia hitman.  Caleb's reaction to them had me dying.  A highlight reel of all the damage Aaron took in that session (which stands out as my favorite AP yet) would be pretty great, too.

From the Wild Talents campaign, the escalating comedy of errors that led to Aaron's Hobot becoming the feared ROBOT ASSASSIN of New Arcadian headlines would be funny (I think) to hear all at once.

Not picking on Aaron, but between dubious choices and poor luck he has created some of the funniest moments I've encountered in roleplaying outside my own table or KoTD.

Some excellent fodder for a Best of RPPR video: Planning the attack on the Syndicate from the latest New Arcadia episode. Something about the image of a vigilante hero writing out the "pros and cons" of being Big Damn Heroes is fantastic.

Plus the claymore. Gotta love the claymore.

And the whiteboard. I can see it now, laser pointer, dry erase markers and all.
I wish I was Tom.

Granted, you are now Tom.
