tumblr_n3yay9gDq01t77uevo7_1280News: Check out the Devotees, a new Eclipse Phase adventure written by Caleb Stokes! The first part of the actual play is up. We also have a new digital audio recorder for the APs, a Zoom H2N. Higher quality APs for everyone!  Also, I’m working on a new horror RPG called Ruin. BTW, have you checked out the video game I’m working on, Delver’s Drop?

Synopsis: During the last weekend, Tom and I got to play 2 games with some new players, including a 6 player Call of Cthulhu game. For this episode, we talk about our experiences playing with new players, especially in a large group. Tom also has a letter about his recent trip to New York, plus shout outs and anecdotes!

  1. New Blood! Give them to us! We listen for atavism. Hunger is all we know. And their choir is rapturous.

  2. My little pony RPG. I googled it. It exists. Actually a few exists, all fan made.

Now the question is: “When will RPPR play and record a game of Friendship is Magic the RPG?”

    I want’s it !

  3. Do a Question and Answer segment for Episode 100! ANSWER FAN QUESTIONS!!! WE DEMAND SOMETHING SPECIAL!!!

  4. Good advice about running big tables. My Pathfinder group has evolved into a 7-player game, including one player who remotely Skypes in from Seattle. It’s a bear to manage. The worst part is trying to figure out days that we can all play. Because none of my players want to be left out of sessions. *Sigh* I guess I’m just too good at running games…

  5. Congrats on getting to episode 99 & having a great selection of 99 episodes to listen to. #100 should be quite interesting & good luck on running/playing in the games mentioned here in #99, as they’re not standard games usually played on RPPR.

  6. So, just as a little anecdote, when I ran Cold Dead Hand for my players they did exactly as you mentioned here. They got to the gulag before the missile base, saw it was a gulag and were like, “NOPE,” and kept on going. I then pulled the pages for that encounter out of my printout and chucked it behind me. Man, players are fickle creatures.
