Unspeakable! A new podcast for Call of Cthulhu

I collaborated with Shane Ivey (publisher of Arc Dream) and Toren Atkinson (The Darkest of the Hillside Thickets) to create a new Call of Cthulhu monthly podcast. We will talk about gaming in CoC, Cthulhu mythos related news and review games as well as interview notable designers and writers. We talk to John Tynes, one of the creators of Delta Green, in our first episode. Check it out here!

Announcing Role Playing Public Radio: second edition

RPPR is proud to announce a second edition of our podcast. Our new format will feature the same gaming comedy you’ve come to expect from us but it will also include gaming news, advice, stories, and reviews. If you have any gaming related questions or need some advice, feel free to ask us and we will answer you in our first episode. Email contact AT slangdesign dot com or post it in the comments here.

RPPR will be attending Gencon and we will put our first episode up after we back, with news from the industry, reviews, and the same brand of humor you’ve come to expect from us. Several key members of the RPPR staff have left and we wish them the best of luck. Our sound editor, Chris Farmer, has joined the Navy and Patrick Seth Williams and Karee Kimple have moved to Wisconsin to pursue graduate school.

News update

RPPR is hard at work on several projects, which is why we haven’t posted any new material lately. The first is a new show called “Law & Orcdom” a look into the criminal justice world of high fantasy. The second is unrelated to RPPR but still funny. It’s a feature length movie called Motor Home from Hell and it will be available this fall. The final project is a video for Wizards of the Coast’s D&D fan film contest. As soon as we have one of these projects ready for the public, we’ll post it here.
