Did you end up finishing the series?

The Ravenor trilogy isn't bad, but it lacks the same visceral feel that Eisenhorn had.  Apparently Abnett is working on a third trilogy (so far titled the Bequin trilogy) that is going to basically be Ravenor Vs. Eisenhorn.

I also suggest Gaunt's Ghosts for fans of Sci-Fi WW2.

For a series written up to coincide with the release of model wargame, based around one of the pre-generated characters of the game...it did pretty damn well for itself.
