Ha! Thank god someone did this before I did. I've been running out of ideas for NaNoWriMo. ;D
Just because you aren't drunk now doesn't mean you won't have a hangover tommarow.
The only thing worse then zombies is nanotech zombies that are immune to disintegration.

This is the conversation I had with my wife.

Me: They wrote a fan-fic about us.

Sam: Us?

Me: Us meaning RPPR.

Sam: Oh. I thought you meant us us and I thought that made us internet famous.

Me: Well, it's a slash fiction and I guess you're in it.

Sam: Slash fiction? You mean I die?

Me: No. Slash fiction is from a Star Trek porno fan fiction like "Kirk/Spock" where the two of them do it.

Sam: . . . so . . . where is this going?
I'm from Alaska. About Fifty miles south of Ankorage there's a little fishing town, maybe you've heard of it, it's called fuck your momma.

I'm just glad that I can read the comments on what I must imagine is horrifying fanfic from beyond space and time and never have to press that spoiler button again - The nice thing is that my editorial experience has me reflexively glance over a paragraph before reading it, and the words that jumped out promptly had me nearly forcibly remove my right eyeball and choke myself to death. And that was from like four words!

I'm just so glad that nothing in the world could ever convince me to read that.

And for once i didn't have anything to do with an awkward RPPR convo with your wife!
My new goal in life is to play D&D with Judi Dench

Technically, she was in it, just never referred to by name. In my mind, the fan-fic writer knew Cody had a wife and nothing else. However, in the fic, I made a referrece to Popgun Chaos, meaning the writer went there and should know her name is Sam, thus creating a metaplot hole.

This fic is layers upon layers of awful.

But it's intentionally awful and thoughtfully awful and that is what makes it good.

Well...looks like Tom and Cody finally got that fight with the hydra.
Thanos: "I am going to sacrifice the Earth to gain the love of Death"
Me: (slowly raise eyebrow) "Destroy the Earth? That would be...illogical"
Vortex: "Yes...that...would be...highly...illogical."
Thanos: "Your Star Trek references bore me."
