Some advice from some obviously Delta Green lovin' people:

Where would be good to post the details of and and a link to the Kickstarter for Arc Dream Publishing's Delta Green novel 'Through A Glass Darkly', by Dennis Detwiller? Or is it OK to do so here at all?

I've read some snippets they've released, and I have to admit the selfish desire to hold one of these books in my hand. However, I don't want to cause bad feelings or a 'dueling authors' situation. Or it just might be super tacky, I don't know the etiquette with stuff like this.

Anybody know if it's cool, and if so, in which section of the forums?

I'll have you know Lover in the Ice was recorded back in March of this year. The campaign games take longer because I have to post them in order and if I just posted them then you guys wouldn't get the variety of games that you get now.

Wasn't one of the playtests for the Wild Talents game put up rather quickly after it was recorded?

the WT zombie games are one shots, not part of a campaign.

I was referring to that?  I guess I was just trying to give another example of a game put up soon-ish after it was recorded

The site was closed down due to several things: reduced traffic, lack of funds, and division of focus. At least that's what was said on the Yog forums.

I'm trying to contact the guy with the files through Yog to see if he'll let me upload them to my server so they can be used again.

Will do. He said something about uploading the files to a download service at some point but I don't know if he has yet. And he hasn't logged back into Yog for weeks so I know he hasn't gotten my message. I'll try to track down an e-mail address or something.

Well if you can find the guy first than more power to you. Name on Yog is "Agent_Donald". Hasn't signed in since mid-May when there was a thread about Project Nemsis going off-line. A user in the thread, Syrinx, seems to have some way of getting hold of the guy but I haven't asked him yet.

I guess this makes it a three way race now. Winner take all.

I don't care who wins the race really. As a programmer type, I have an interest in seeing the (probably simple) codebase if nothing else.

Update: the code is ugly, so I might just rewrite a new greenbox generator from scratch because it'd honestly be faster than getting the current stuff on a different server (a lot of the code has hard-coded values based on how nemesis-system.com was configured to use it). I also really want to get all the original data, because to me that's the goldmine, so I'm still in contact with syrinx about getting a mysqldump. If I can't get all the old data, it will be up to us to re-populate it with weird shit.

I'll make a new thread about at some point it so I don't keep derailing. PM me if you want to know more.
