Preemptive Revenge was incredibly creepy and unsettling in a way that I'm not sure Caleb has managed in the past. Very good for an improvised game with a two and a half hour prep time. I can't wait to see what 'monster' he comes up with next.

The Long Island game was hilarious. I love how at first, the players glossed over the fact that it was still prohibition but they went for the (illegal) bar to start drinking anyway, as if it were normal.

I can't really take credit for either idea, though. Preemptive Revenge come out of PC behavior in Eclipse Phase (horrific in any context other than Eclipse Phase) and my best attempt at trying to run Continuum. The Long Island game came from one of my former student. I miss her crazy-ass, but always interesting, interpretations of our books.

Gotta say Ive actually been trying to formulate a game idea based on Calebs suggestion about getting a knock on the door during a game. Thinking of using that as the trigger as the players are some seperate listeners who live in the same town as the podcasters as there having a live game run on Halloween. Then something strangely terrifying happens to the podcasters, and the players, after hearing the wierdness then have to figure out what happend.

Seriously, I was laughing so hard from that part of the game before the horror began. Thank you Caleb.
