The Painting on my Office Wall
« on: April 22, 2009, 11:38:53 AM »
The person that occupied the desk in my shared office before me left an unusual painting on the wall. (You can't really tell in the picture but the figure has been painted on an engineering blueprint.) I liked the painting so I left it up there, but occasionally students get creeped out by it. These occasions usually happen like this.

Student: What the hell is that?

Me: The dark god I pray to.

Student: Are you serious?

I have a poster of Darkseid next to my desk at school and kids ask me who he is. I reply, "He is Darkseid. He believes in forfeiting free will in exchange for him. He is all that is evil. He simply is."
I'm from Alaska. About Fifty miles south of Ankorage there's a little fishing town, maybe you've heard of it, it's called fuck your momma.

I have blank character sheets from all of the games that I play hung around my desk.

There's also some photocopied artwork from D&D books which I change out as new stuff comes out.

I also have a five inch model of one of the DreadLords from WarCraft III on my printer and a like sided one of an owl on my desktop.
