Webcomic Idea
« on: November 01, 2011, 10:37:53 PM »
In a Facebook conversation earlier tonight, one of my colleagues and I hit upon an interesting idea for a webcomic series. A buddy comedy featuring Ernest Hemingway and Edgar Allan Poe as drinking buddies. The series would follow Ernest and Edgar through their various encounters with alcohol, fisticuffs, misogyny, and genitalia.

It's a rough idea, but if we actually wrote it and found someone to draw it, would you guys read it?

Does anyone want to draw it if we write it?  ;D

I'd read it. Unfortunately I have the all the artistic abilities of a dead rhinoceros.
I didn't come here to win. I came to make friends.

I know a lot of artists. If you want I can ask around for you.

Yeah, I'd read it...

More importantly, I think it is actually something that would be able to have a decent readership.  Of course it would need to be at least decent, but I know of several friends of mine who would find this concept quite amusing, so I'm guessing there would be at least a decent audience...
