Good thing I got this kidney I was not using.

And the kickstarter is live!

I went for the Skype/Google hangout ticket pledge level - which, incidentally, gets you named as an NPC in the scenario. If any other RPPR denizens splurge for this pledge, let me know and we can request to play in the same game.

I was sort of embarrassed to say I had pledged at that level but now someone else has taken the edge off I would be happy to play with other folks.

Heh. Why be embarrassed? I can't get to GenCon so this is a nice alternative! And really good value for the money if you have it to spend in my opinion.

The value is actually very good. Many kickstarters I have seen don't offer the game level till much higher price points. My only concern is that given the games I have heard I might end up committing to a 6+ hour game.

I'm just glad Caleb & Glancy's kickstarters are at least 30 days apart...  :P

I'm in for a Glancy game too. We'll die terribly in trenches together, it'll be great!

Them that die in the trenches will be the lucky ones!

Evil Hats Designers and Dragons, a four-volume history of the roleplaying game industry, just went online.

And it's already managed to fund itself twice over.

Horrors of War nearly funded!

Can't wait to see about stretch goals and a tentative scenario list. Hoping the Serbian army scenario is in volume one since I have some players from that neck of the woods eager to play in that particular scenario.

I can't wait for them to add a PDF option.

Currently the options for me are.  Buy paper for to much, that that I then have to pay tax on as well when it gets to me and A. Scott Glancy will not make any profit because he (silly man) promises free shipping overseas.  Or I can kick in a few dollars for a small part in PDF.

I like don't like those options.  I just want to buy my PDF, skip the printing and shipping and give more money to the authors.
