I actually bought The Quiet Year in PDF this morning and then ordered the $25 card set after running a brief 1 hour test of it.  They owe you commission, Ross.

bought a copy of A Dirty World
and just picked up A Quiet Year

will probably end up buying Road Trip if I can persuade my players to play as kids in a game

Tell them they get monsters of their own design as well. That's sold it for a lot of my players.

You would think that would work, but not if they cant get around playing children. :(

Yeah that's the real problem so far. They like the idea of making their own monsters (I told them its a little like Wild Talents character creation) but they have pretty much zero interest in playing children

Call of Cthulhu 6th Ed. (and a number of books for it, including Cthulhu by Gaslight (the new one), Cthulhu Invictus (+ the Companion, and the Legacy of Arrius Lurco), and Cthulhu Dark Ages...not to mention numerous other titles via RPG Now).
Delta Green, Delta Green Countdown (paid $105 on Ebay), Delta Green Eyes Only.
A Dirty World
Wild Talents Essentials Edition
Reign Enchiridion
I just put down $50 to buy Arc Dream's Monsters and Other Childish Things bundle.
Kicked into Caleb's No Security Kickstarter, Chaosium's Horror on the Orient Express Kickstarter, and Better Angels Kickstarter.

I am also considering purchase of Nights Black Agents but my wife makes fun of me when I buy games that I will never run even though I like to read them so we shall see if I can live with the ridicule.

I am fortunate in that a) my wife is also a gamer (and even a DM now!), and b) even if she weren't she would never criticize my purchase of games I'll probably never play. We're both collectors--of books (RPG books too, in my case), music, videos, and in her case, fabric and patterns that she may or may not ever get around to using.

If I can afford it, and I want to buy it, it's fine by her. (And vice versa.) No justification required.

It is mostly just gentle ribbing but we are trying to have less stuff in our life so try to not purchase physical goods if it can be avoided. I use to love having books around me but now I tend to see them as loading me down. Been trying to downsize down to only those books i have some emotional connection to. We both still have way to many books as the people who assisted in our last move will attest but we are trying. The proliferation of PDFs has helped out in that regard quite a bit as pretty much all new purchases have been via PDF.

Anyway I will likely purchase Nights and hopefully even get a chance to run it.
