Because this is the kind of thing that can't really be discussed. The characters are from seperate publishers so there's absolutely no way to reconcile anything as far as a neutral point of measure. Even if they where both somehow balanced against a point of measure, they exist in a continuum of endless variation. Batman has existed since 1939. Daredevil since 1964.
Batman is over 70 years old. It's not an individual, it's a concept. It's akin to arguing about Objectivism and Rationalism got into a fight because they aren't really singular entities at all but representations of massive stretchs of time, many of which contridict one another.
