They're in open beta right now, looks like they'll be a pay service eventually. Seem to have a good "virtual table" setup, and I'd love to run something for you RPPR peoples sometime.

As for what I'd run... I'm open to suggestions. My immediate thoughts include Delta Green, CoC, or MAOCT. I have a DG scenario I've been working on called "Death and Taxis" that a playthrough might help me refine and develop a bit.

I'd love to hop in.  If I had to offer preferences as far as system, I would prefer CoC or DG...

EDIT:  It's nice that it's an online tool.  Though if I had to end up paying, I'd probably stick with Maptools and Skype...

I got an e-mail about this and signed on. Haven't done much yet, just start.

I'm up for a game of Delta Green. Monsters is my favorite.

Have you been able to get into it and test it (ie, how does it compare to maptools, as far as stuff like macros, multiple die rolls, etc)?  I registered on the site, tried to make a game to try and play around with it but kept getting errors when trying to create the game.  And I only found 1 screenshot on their site (granted I wasn't looking intensely hard) so I'm not even sure how it would operate in action.

*edit - ok, found the sample game, I just didn't read the front page very much, just jumped to the FAQ which wasnt there and tried to find a screenshot.

So far, It seems very clunky interface-wise and underpowered compared to Maptools, specially the dice rolling, and the chat in general (which doesn't seem to scroll with the new text, although thats probably just a 'beta' thing), and I didn't see anywhere to do macros, or stuff like card decks (for savage worlds, or deck of many things, whatever) (although I was on 8 color VNC into a netbook with low resolution since it didn't work on my computer, so maybe i just didn't see it), but I dont think it brings enough to the table (no pun intended).
I could maybe see the fact that its web-based and a bit easier as a plus, but that also means your tied to their server as to whether it will work or not, and they could start charging whenever they wanted, so I'd probably even then still say that learning maptools and the extras that go with it (port forwarding, vent or skype, other tidbits) would be worth it.  Course I could just be biased, and my first response to most things in life is hate first, so I guess you can just ignore my bitching, lol.

I use Artfulshrapnel everywhere these days.

EDIT: Looks like they're expecting real names. Mine's Ean Moody, feel free to friend request me.

HA! Finally found you. Been searching variants on "Ean Moody" and "ArtfulShrapnel" for two hours.

And by "variants" I mean "wrong spellings".

Hey, guys, Ean just figured out something to help us find each other.

Make sure to put "RPPR" in your profile tags.

The game is called Delta Green - Death and Taxis. Feel free to sign up, and we'll work out how to do character sheets.

I'm still not sure how to work this thing, but we can come up with something.

Also, when is a good time for people? I was thinking a weekend, maybe a saturday evening/afternoon?

I don't think you can sign up until there are characters.  And I'm almost completely open except for individual appointments, meaning pick a general time frame and I can find my availability...

Saturday nights are booked for me, as are tuesday and wednesday. Sunday evening is open. Friday night would probably be one of my better times to play.

I think you can make your own characters too, if you want to look at the Nemesis book. I'll start putting a few together tho. Does anyone want to request a specific character type?
