Talking about the movie Southland Tales today on Popgun Chaos. Check it out and remember this movie is actually great when you think about it.

No, I understand what the movie is trying to do, and there are some interesting or fun moments and choices, but... the film ended and I wanted the two hours of my life back.

You mean that you wanted the 2 hours and 25 minutes of your life back.

And I won't lie . . . I felt the EXACT same way. It's a good movie to think about afterward, but it's a shitty movie to watch.

Yeah, I read your review afterwards and couldn't believe it was that long! No wonder I felt it lasted forever!

I'm glad someone had pointed out a few things, like the rock's character was actually an actor acting like a tough guy, so his normal persona was all an act, and that weird quiet comntemplative tapping bits were the real character coming through. Things liek that I think my mind would have just been too overwhelmed/bored to have noticed otherwise.

Anyway, having read your review, I think I agree with it! At the very least, it haven't forgotten about the film...which is more than I can say about the plot or occurences in other films!

So today's article made me want to go back and read through the Black Freighter section of Watchmen again. Which made me re-read Watchmen, despite all of the other work I have to do.
