Welcome. You're gonna have a hell of a time getting into the castle.

Addition-

My mine exploration netted some gold so we now have enough for a single set of boosters and around 100 iron in the community bin. Don't know if anyone's had much success with trains (I haven't, keep slamming to a stop in flat places) but we're close to enough for a little rail system.

Also, you'll notice a growing forest across the canyon from the fort. It's the beginnings of my tree village.

I died in lava and the game warped me into the ocean when I respawned... now I'm lost again. Damn it.

Yeah, I kept respawning in the ocean...

I also think I might have screwed things up because a Creep blew up on me at the gate to fortress destroying it, my most profuse apologies, but I did not know how to fix it...

How good is Minecraft? I played a little of that free version during it's beta. I'm curious how it is with monsters and other players. I've seen videos of people doing insane things in the game.
You've been sucked out of the airlock into the black. Roll all the dice on the table for damage.

It's fun. It's kind of survival horror in a way. You start scared, then you think your safe, and then boom, you lose everything (or at least suffer some damage).

Or if your me, you die about 50 times during a single session trying to get some damn stone to build your castle cus you must brave the deep tunnels that are right there.

P.S. I found gold once too, but then a spider killed me and well I have no clue where the loot fell too. /sigh.

I made some kind of bastard artificial tree on the roof of my base. Also I plan on making R'lyeh at some point.

Tad that tree base you have over to the East looks really nice.

I would like to make it known to every man, woman, and child that enjoys fun that The Haunted: Hell's Reach is on sale on Steam right now. It is a staggeringly violent and hilarious mashup of RE4's Mercenaries mode and Killing Floor. That is all.

Oh my heavens.

Been playing lots of Payday. Lots and lots of Payday.

There's a lot of interest now because of the steam sale, which is good because the game rocks.
