: Long Time Listener, First Time Author!
: NaturaFictor July 24, 2011, 06:11:20 PM
Hey everyone, I've followed RPPR for a long time, and they helped me get through many long car trips. I can honestly say there's only a handful of the actual plays I haven't listened to, and have loved all of the old and new faces. I've lurked on the forums for a little while too (starting when Caleb ran Andrew's Fortune, still one of my favorite AP's), and want to let any of the other RPPR fans know of a side project I've worked on for a few years.

Since late high school I've worked on a series of pulp fantasy novels, and have finally published them through Amazon's Kindle market. If you're into pulp, heroic fantasy I hope you'll take a moment and preview the first chapter or even buy it! Right now the first two novels are up, Rogue's Bane and Unearthed Destiny, each clocking in at a combined total of over 300,000 words, so for $2.99 you're getting your moneys worth. You can find both of my books on my Kindle Author Page at http://www.amazon.com/-/e/B005B48C3C

In addition, as a big thanks to RPPR if any of the hosts or AP participants are interested I'm giving away a free copy to each person that may enjoy it or know someone who enjoys that style of story. Ross, Tom, Caleb, Aaron, Cody...anyone! I'm, not really sure the best way to gift the novel through Amazon so feel free to contact me on my twitter Rick_Ferraro where I have updates on the novels, my blog of short stories and the setting for the novels, etc.

awesome. RPPR seems to be the new outlet for aspiring authors what with this and the wikibook.

I need to get a Kindle.

I just got one for super cheap, and I have to say it's one of the best purchases I've made in almost a year. I've already started reading more than I did and it just looks so nice and is so easy on the eyes.

Also because the new Fighting Fantasy books actually use the processing power of the kindle as a mix between an ebook and an app. It does the die rolling, inventory management, and mapping all for you, with half off their books this month!
