Hope you are all having a lovely holiday season. I was curious if anyone had recommendations for a good keyboard and mouse. Basically I have some money from gifts that I'd like to use to buy something for my new computer and have taken a look at a few things from Logitech just because I've had good experiences with stuff from them in the past (the G110 was looking tempting especially considering I have a 35% off coupon code)...
Anyway, does anyone have any thoughts to share?

Logitech is one of the best companies out there. If you want some more interesting suggestions there are some really nice keyboards on thinkgeek.

Personally, pretty much any keyboard works for me (I do prefer them at least with volume keys though).
As far as mice go, I hate pretty much every mouse available, in one way or another they all suck (nothing has ever been as good as the Logitech Mouseman Wheel.)

I might just have weird hands, but all the logitech mice look like theyd be awesome for me, then i get a hold of one and it just doesnt feel comfortable.
My suggestion would be to go to a store like Best Buy and see the mice they have set up, try them to see what you like, then go online and find it at an actually decent price.

I'd recommend the Logitech MX518. It may look like someone has taken a hammer to it but it's served me and my friends well over the last few years. Two thumb buttons as well as adjustable sensitivity on the fly, it's fairly cheap too.

I used a Microsoft Five Button trackball for years. In fact, I had my last one for almost 10 years. I have large-ish hands so I like forefinger + ring finger control over a thumb controlled trackball. Apparently MS also makes a wireless version of it, but I find it kind of silly since the base never moves.
