you would think the fighting skill would be one of those skills players would always take - like boxing in a palladium game - but no.

I've played a few games of Savage Worlds, and I don't think I've taken fighting in any of them (to be fair though, I did take shooting)...

However, I have had experience in Call of Cthulhu where the only skills at 99 were various weapons skills and fast talk...

I spent too long to find a terrible montage

I like how the rock broke into two rounded rocks generally half the size of the original...

That said, I'm disappointed he never got to break that one rock he had been pounding on for so long (then again, it was gray, probably had to wait to get the gold gauntlets)...

New header really surprised me. Everything looks so cool.

I think that was one of my favorite parts of the movie...

*There may already be a topic like this, but I searched and couldn't find one, please direct me to another topic if it is the same thing.*

So essentially I was looking to compile a list of good game systems to try and look into and play.  I'm trying to broaden my RPG "vocabulary," so to speak as I have only played in DnD 3.0-4 and Call of Cthulhu.  I guess what I'm looking for then is for people to post RPG systems they like and the "genre" if they can and I'll edit this post to include what people put.  Thanks.

the way I see it, the RPPR dragon is the ultimate player character - an adventurer who lives by gamer logic and nothing else.
Also I think RPPR has the best looking site of any rpg podcast out there now  

Does this gamer logic include metagaming?  Because in that sense, he is the ultimate character and in theory would be almost unstoppable as he would know that it was a game and the best way around an obstabcle.
Do you have proof that it is the best looking?

Aside from that stuff, I did click on my bookmark and saw the header, thought, "Nice banner, I should say so on the forums."  I get here, and sure enough, already been commented on...

Well, it was initially a facetious question and was a little sarcastic, but now that I check, it is definitely true (not that I had doubted it)...

I have it on PC, I would be down for some multiplayer if people would be interested.  Fun game, has many problems, but shows a lot of potential.  I'm hoping for a killer sequel.
