You are pulled from your pool and are getting pushed down a dark tight tunnel.
You feel something grasping your head.
Make a SAN roll. 76. Not good.  You lose 4 SAN.
All of the sudden, shockingly cold air replaces the constriction.
Your eyes snap open to intense white light.
You are surrounded by enormous white figures with no mouth or nose, just eyes.
Make a SAN roll. 82 ... Maybe you should change dice?  You lose 7 SAN.
You go temporarily insane.  You enter a catatonic state and just stare at everything.

One of these figures grabs you, while another cuts your feeding tube away with a sharp metallic object .
Make a SAN roll. 23.  Good roll.  You only lose 1 SAN.
The figure holding you lifts you in the air by your legs and strikes you hard on in the lower back.  You take 2HP damage.
Make a SAN roll.  Ohh, 98.  You lose 5 SAN and you go indefinitely insane.
Your insanity is to cry incessantly for 1d6 ... 2 years.

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations, sir! May the lad's dice favor 20s, no matter the skill check.

Or something.

Best of luck to lil' Ewen in his exciting post-natal adventure.

I'd be careful with all the gaming related jokes, you're setting Ewen up to be an orphan, anti-paladin wielding a katana and that means no Patrick.

Thanks everyone. Pictures will be up later today.

How many hitpoints?

Haven't checked yet.
Rolling 1d10+4:
(5)+4: Total = 9

WHEW big boy! Congratz.

Biggest one in the birth ward this month. Also, Karee did it without using any pain meds, except a mild narcotic that allowed her to get an hour of sleep before active labor.

Congratulations, sir! May the lad's dice favor 20s, no matter the skill check.

He landed a nat 20 with a foot to one of the nurses faces the other day when she went to draw blood.

Pictures of Ewen from the hospital kiosk. I'll get better digi prints in the next few weeks, but whatever.

My eyes are open, so take the f'n picture already.

1d10+4? So he's a warrior with a an 18 Con? You better be careful, his BaB is probably higher than yours already Seth.

That's a new born? God damn, the kid's a born weight lifter. And his hands are huge! I foresee alot of "face-to-close-to-the-baby" injuries in the near future.

All babies start out as fighters and then multi-class after a few levels. It provides a nice HP boost at early levels until you can train arcane skills.

: Arje July 24, 2010, 05:04:49 PM
Ahem, I was born entirely as an Arcane Class. None of that wimpy fighter class for me.

I will immediately eat the 5000 XP, and Wish this new life good luck and good tidings. Perhaps some sort of extraordinary ability to cast Luck 1/day. I'll have to work it out with the GM later.

As the end of a poorly translated Nintendo game would say

"Congratulation! You have born a very great thing of much joy! And prooved the justice of our culture! Now go and rest our heroes!"

Thanks everyone.

Just letting you know that Ewen is leveling up quickly. He already eats 1d4 cultists at one time. Soon he'll be as strong as the Old Great One himself.
