This was posted yesterday by the folks over at Free RPG Day on facebook.
Lorefinder (Gumshoe/Pathfinder crossover). Lorefinder puts you in the role of a brave adventurer in search of forbidden secrets and lost treasures. Uncover strange cults, solve baffling murders, or delve into the deepest dungeons and face their denizens. Lorefinder merges the action-oriented fantasy rules of Pathfinder with the streamlined investigative focus of Gumshoe.

Yeah, they talked about it at the GUMSHOE panel at GenCon as well. Its pretty exciting. My group is basically starting just the sort of campaign that would benefit from the Pathfinder Rules (we're doing an Eberron Silver Flame sort of monster hunting/mystery solving campaign). Oooh
It's due out Next month!

Oh my god. YES.

The post I saw said it was coming out Jan 2012. It sounds interesting thats for sure.

Anybody for a game of hard-boiled shaman?

My favorite D&D books, ever, where the Inquisitor series of books set in Eberron. They where damn good. I'm really looking forward to this game so I can recreate those books.

Next time, on CSI: Baldur's Gate:
"Looks like the cult's taking their murderous schemes... to the next level."
YEAAAAAAAH (http://mirrors.rit.edu/instantCSI/)

Holy shit, you know what this means? We have to convince Ross to run a Law and Orcdom adventure!
-
Unless he is against the Pathfinder part of it. They keep the d20 based combat and what not, they kind of hybridize the skills to my understanding and make those more GUMSHOEy.
-
What?! Ain't no mutha'fuckin' d20s in GUMSHOE! Now I'm pissed.

That sounds great! I am looking forward to this even more.

It is only like a 50 page supplement that supports the clue gathering GUMSHOE method, cheaper than making a whole new game when there isn't really a need.
Kind of like how you can GUMSHOE cthulhu without having to convert, like having each ten percent be point spend and what not.
I'm sure if there is enough demand for the initial product they might make a whole setting, but they've got soo much already.

Goddamn do I want to play that 'fixer' Urban Barbarian I threw together for fun now...
Damn this not having a group! :-[

Don't be so glum chum. From the people interested in the thread I'm sure we can russle up a skype game or summat to fill the void.
