I noticed there was no thread for discussing/sharing information about various free RPGs available online. I also needed somewhere to put this recommendation for a fan made World of Darkness game I am quickly falling in love with.

Genius the transgression
My best pitch for it is that you read it as fear I might do it a disservice in my description but the general idea is this.
You are someone who suffered a dramatic mental break that left you with a delusional view of the universe and your ability to affect it with “technology.” You might believe in the aether, with that belief design an emissions fee car that pulls its self forward with an aether screw, what separate you form more common mad men is conviction; when you build that screw powered car it will work but dose so only because of your belief in it. This belief, which you are a conduit for, is called mania and generally speaking it the physic energy generated by societies many shattered dreams of what the glorious future might look like and it’s still timidly optimist hopes for the future that still might be. You can channel this energy into imposable and wonderful things but any attempt by a normal person to examine a device or conversation in which you attempt to express your bold “scientific” ideas results in your device or argument quickly braking down on contact with rational observation.
As a result the game consists of flights of PC fancy as they experiment with their ability to crate juxtaposed by the horror of slipping deeper into delusion.
It also contains just as much flavor text and background material as one would expect to find in a normal world of darkness book but without the headache inducing font.
hears the link for the sight where you can download the PDF as well as chatterer sheets.

Yes, all the text is under Creative Commons and Rob does link to the PDFs on his web page. But if you can, give the money for the game. Then they have incentive to make more.

Doing research for writing the official conversion guidelines for D6xD6, I found that the Star Trek RPG by Decipher is available for free here:
http://startrekrpgdecipher.kccomputing.net/pdf-resources/ (http://startrekrpgdecipher.kccomputing.net/pdf-resources/)
I have no idea if the game itself is any good, but that is a lot of product for Trek lovers.

That 1000-entry radiation chart is some kind of work of genius.

Gumshoe OGL, though I suppose that it technically doesn't fall under a complete RPG as it stands. http://www.pelgranepress.com/GUMSHOE//files/GUMSHOE%20SRD%20OGL%20version.pdf (http://www.pelgranepress.com/GUMSHOE//files/GUMSHOE%20SRD%20OGL%20version.pdf)
