So, who ended up pledging for an online game run by Scott Glancy from the kickstarter? We'll need to get organized for when those games are set up.
-
I'm in! Cannot wait to die in historically correct fashion or bite it from something from beyond!
-
In. We will all likely die, possibly multiple times, in highly historic fashion.
-
Answered the survey. I'm on PST. How about you two? We might have to talk with Glancy to see about logistics of being in the same group.
-
I am on PST as well.
-
I'm hoping this gets scheduled sometime in November. Would prefer to play something that hasn't been previously released as an actual play.
-
Has anyone received an e-mail from Glancy regarding setting up these games?
-
I really wanted some Horrors of War actual play/sneak peek pdf for Christmas. Alas.
-
I might be talking to myself, but I wish ASG would post an update to Kickstarter about this book.
I expected the project to run well behind schedule, but an update would appease the masses methinks.
Still looking forward to the online game, whenever that might be.
-
i'll go bug him to update
-
The natives are getting restless, so to speak.
-
Having been around for some of the Pagan Publishing run of the Unspeakable Oath I knew going in that I needed to be very unattached to schedule. I fully suspect delivery will occur at some point and the product will be very good otherwise I would not have backed but I try to have no expectations as to when.

Amen, brother. Only reason I posted again here was that some of the entitled masses over at the Kickstarter page were getting a bit frisky, and I figured posting here might get back to ASG through back channels, which it may have well have done, thanks to Ross. When I posted over there telling people to calm down, I got the expected caterwauling from the usual suspects.

We are currently tunneling our way into Adam Scott Glancy's house. We are averaging four feet a day. When we break through we will assault and retrieve the Horrors of War books for ourselves. At night we listen for the sounds of counter-tunneling coming from Glancy's home office. Sam says he sometimes hears whispers in between the scratching.

If there was a like button on these forums this would get the big thumbs up.

Henry...
Now, I know there are less guns & cats in the Pagan Publishing bunker than there were a few months ago, but you really ought to consider the world of pain that you will be entering if you go through with your ill-conceived plan.
-
I agree, less do not mean a total absence of cats or guns.
-
Remember Ken Hite's anecdote about Pagan Haus, "It's like a frat house for serial killers."
-
I have to say, the conduct of this project has been sorely lacking. I compare this to Red Markets and Caleb deserves huge credit for clear communication and transparency; Glancy, not so much. I know I'll eventually enjoy the final product, and probably even the online game I pledged for whenever that actually gets organized, but I know my respect for ASG's professionalism has taken a hit. Just admit to those that funded the book about the elephant in the room: real life - whether it be family issues, writer's block, other projects - *cough Delta Green cough* - has gotten in the way of delivering the book.
I wouldn't say this over on Kickstarter where some are filing complaints to the FBI and demanding refunds, but I guess I needed to vent a little in this little online corner of our hobby.
-
Well that was a brave update. Best of luck to ASG and hopefully down the road the project gets back on the rails.
-
Yeah, that was pretty brave of him to share. I have much respect for ASG, and I kind of know where he is coming from.
