: Need a Gaming Recommendation
: Mckma January 15, 2010, 02:25:18 AM
So not so much a game, but I want to get a dice bag.  I am currently using a bag that came with an MP3 player power cord, nice, but I want it to be a touch bigger.  I have 3 full sets and an assorted pound (bought Chessex's pound of dice).  I probably will also get 1-2 more sets at some point.  Any recommendations?

the best dice bag i have ever seen is a buddies of mine its bigger then a crown royal bag, but purple with chain mail on the outside of it. I personly use a sour cream tub for dice container not the best but gets the job done.

Heh, heh, while that's cool, definitely a tad gaudy for me (and likely a bit expensive for my taste)...

I use a cigar box. The best part was I got to smoke the cigars first.

I use the "standard issue" felt bags that I find in my local gaming store. If they have a brand name, I don't know what it is.

If you want to be stylish, there's some nice wines that come with a fancy pull string bag. They sometimes have fancy stuff sown onto them, roses and what not.

If you want to be all business, some office stores sell large, zippered bags to use for financial transactions.

The natives stored tobacco in pouch made of the skin of their dead enemies' hands. Maybe you could try it with dices.

if you buy a shure microphone, it comes with a leather pouch. I use one of those.

I use a travel coffee cup.  (It has never contained coffee, though I suppose that is an alternate use.)

I added a couple sets of opaque Gamescience dice to my collection, they're totally awesome.  I even enjoyed inking the digits.

My FLGS sells pretty simple velvet esque drawstring bags in a variety of styles, but depending on how many dice, fishing tackle boxes, change purses (either with snaps or a zipper) work just as well.

Looked around some more and I'm pretty sure a friend of mine grabbed one of these (http://www.etsy.com/shop/marsbarn) so I'm thinking about one of these after I talk to him...

Just need to pick a design if I decide to grab it...
