: D&D Encounters in the Greater Toronto Area
: LiamAtSea March 10, 2010, 04:27:55 PM
Hi Gang!

I don't know if anyone on these forums live in the GTA area (if you do you know who you are), but I thought I would just drop a note about some of the sweet RPing that's coming down the pipe.

First of all, I, Liam Gallagher, me, am going to be running the weekly D&D Encounters program at Dueling Grounds on Bloor St. (http://www.dueling-grounds.com/), if any one is interested in participating. In addition to being ableto take part in the weekly games that form the greater campaign, I'm going to be producing the adventures into a weekly podcast so that everyone can folow along with the progression of the story arc. FUN! You will be able to listen along to that (as well as my home campaign actual play podcast) at the Shattered Sea (http://www.shatteredsea.blogspot.com) or just by searching for Shattered Sea on iTunes. Yay!

Additionally, other folks in the GTA are goingto be running this program at their own stores, and so we thought we might be able to band together, and so if you interested there's a D&D Encounters Toronto community page (http://community.wizards.com/ddencounterstoronto) that is getting its ducks in a row as we speak.

Hope you like. Be gentle, it's my first time.

Greater Toronto Area - I assume. Given that is the phrase in the subject of the post.

I'm in TO. I might actually stop by. Have the get permission from the wife first...

It is a little out of the way for me though, since I take the GO, and work right by Union.

What time are you looking at running it?

We're kicking things off at about 6:00-6:30.  Usually the first half hour is just waiting for everyone to get settled and ready. If you're keen on it check the warhorn page (I'll PM you the address) for a little more info and to reserve your seat (just in case), though if you follow the links on the Community page you can find your way to it from there.

Also that picture of the Winston Churchhill statue isn't in Toronto. I've only seen two of them in m life, there's another one in Halifax NS, and that picture isn't of that one either. There's a third cast statue of Whinny out there people...
