Heheheh.
Me fail english? That's unpossible.
As to the hero thing...
I admire many people, for many things, but to me the only heroes are the ones who put their lives on the line every day. Just because you are good at something, doesn't mean you are a hero.
Also, just because you accomplish something great, doesn't mean you are a hero. Some people accomplish much, because they are capable of it, but if it is but a small contribution based on what they could accomplish, I don't see it as very heroic.
I think people can perform heroic actions, and maybe that is enough for them to be heroes, but it seems like what you are asking is "who do you admire."
Googleing the definition, I come up with some interpretations:
# a man distinguished by exceptional courage and nobility and strength; "RAF pilots were the heroes of the Battle of Britain"
# the principal character in a play or movie or novel or poem
# champion: someone who fights for a cause
# Greek mathematician and inventor who devised a way to determine the area of a triangle and who described various mechanical devices (first century)
# (classical mythology) a being of great strength and courage celebrated for bold exploits; often the offspring of a mortal and a god
# (Greek mythology) priestess of Aphrodite who killed herself when her lover Leander drowned while trying to swim the Hellespont to see her
# bomber: a large sandwich made of a long crusty roll split lengthwise and filled with meats and cheese (and tomato and onion and lettuce and condiments); different names are used in different sections of the United States

I prefer grinders to heroes. But I definitely will never pass up a good roast beef and cheddar anything.

Personally, after season 1, I really hated Heroes. I stopped watching near the end of season 3.

A few months back there was a riot in Australia. This was a pretty big down here because, next to avoiding being eaten/poisoned/turned-into-an-egg-incubator by the local wildlife and getting drunk and going to the beach, there isn't really a whole lot of impetus for your stock standard Aussie to get pissed off at anything. So right off the bat a riot was a terrifying change of pace.
But what really shook us was that it was a race riot.
A recent spate of assaults on locals at the Cronulla beach over a week by allegedly middle-eastern men led to a full blown riot where mobs of drunken men and women would mercilessly hunt down anyone of middle-eastern appearance. The coverage was horrifying, but I saw one video that made me proud.
A man of ethnic persuasion, down and cowering his head. Trying to close on him was a mob of a dozen thugs. Between him and the mob was on lone, pudgy, cop. Swinging his baton to keep the crowd at bay. He put himself bodily in harms way against overwhelm odds to protect a stranger on principles as noble as they come.
He's my hero.

I got chills. What was this guy's name?

I never managed to find out. I spent days crawling through all the reports on the Cronulla Riots to try and find out, and even contacted the station that aired the footage. Nobody had any clue.
I love this country, but those riots really shook me.

I'm surprised you're even asking. It is irrevocably, without a doubt, abosotively posilutely Tom Church.
