: How to look for a PBP/Skype Game
: gourdcaptain June 20, 2010, 05:11:07 PM
Hey, I'm new to the entire PBP/Skype game scene. I've been looking for a 4e D&D game online for a while now, and I can never seem to find one that gets off the ground I can express interest in. Does anyone have any tips for finding games?

the problem with PbP 4E games is that combat requires a battlemat or miniatures, and it's hard to do this on a forum.

Maptools is pretty awesome for that. http://rptools.net/

They have a section on their forums for finding games.

gourdcaptain you were on TSE weren't you? Contact me on skype at ali.dogfish. This weekend I'll be running the first session for a bunch of newbies.

Sure - what's the time and appropriate software I'll need - I sent you a skype message as gourdcaptain.

BTW, if you have an idea what class you'll probably need (I'll play a warlord or rogue probably) tell me so I can build it.
