The Recuitment Thread is here (http://slangdesign.com/forums/index.php?topic=970.new#new).
I'm a little lacking in creativity today, so here's a map I busted out in a minute. I decided to christen this land "Grand Fenwick"
[spoiler=Map]

If everyone's cool with it, we can begin the First Age.

And so begins the first age. . .
Round 1 (Year 1 - Year 500)
In the beginning there was nothing. An amorphous continent surrounded by some vaguely blue and oceanlike surface. 4 deities looked down on this barren wasteland and decided to make it their own. They smiled down upon the world they were to create, and it was good.

-
In those earliest years, Porastun made his first marks on the world, driving a deep trench and filling it with water to create an island off the southeast corner of the continent (3 points). He then summoned a massive volcano on this newly separated land mass, curious to see what changes and benefits this might bring (3 points)...
(2 remaining)

Okay, you've got 9 points left for your turn (I'll just make the initiative roll also the Power Level Roll). If you end your turn with under 5 points, you get a +1 cumulative bonus on your next power roll (up to +5).

I was using the 8 I originally rolled and thought that each thing required 3 points, though I could spend more if you think I should...
-
Oh heh, whoops. I can't read. Yeah that turn works fine.

Doesn't the cumulative +1 cap at +3?
-
Doesn't the cumulative +1 cap at +3?
Yes, yes it does. Once again, I can't read.
Vladd, you're up.
-
Just as fair warning I am at work right now so image editing is not really going to work, I wont be able to take my turn till later tonight...
-
Fair enough, we'll get to turns as we get to turns.
Also, we should probably limit OOC chatter a bit.
-
I add a river for life to flourish. (6 Points leaving me with 2)

I add a river for life to flourish. (6 Points leaving me with 2) (how do I add the image?)
You gonna need to upload it to an image hosting site, like photobucket or image shack, there are alot of them out there so take your pick I suppose.
-
Sekur Gisu brought forth a dense forest near the river (Shape Terrain 2" - 6 points).
-
In the new age when the other God's were busy building a lush land for life to flourish Kakistos decided to include a barren harsh wasteland where virtually nothing could survive.
Shape Land 1" 2x spending all 6 of my points down to 0
(http://i16.photobucket.com/albums/b15/Flawless_P/grandfenwick.png)
-
Round 2:
Rolling 2d6: (6+1): Total = 7
+3 (2 previous, 1 for bonus)
-
Second round roll.
Rolling 2d6: (6+4): Total = 10
+3 (2 from second round and +1 bonus)
-
Rolling 2d6: (4+3): Total = 7
+1 (<5 points from last round.)
-
Rolling 2d6+1: (4+4)+1: Total = 9
2d6+1 for have 0 points at start of round.
-
Porastun works on the island, further separating it further from the main land by sinking land under the sea (3 points). He then blankets the island volcano in a thick fog (2 points). With a bit of his remaining power, he digs a deep canyon into the northern canyon (3 points)...
-
Looking down, Vensilous decides to expand on his river yet again, hoping many civilizations will use it for sustenance. (8 points of land transformation leaving me with 5 points.)
-
While no one was looking, Sekur Gisu shaped forty mountains in the northeast corner. That's as many as four tens. And that's good. He then draped them in a dense fog.
(3 for shape land + 2 for climate = 3 points remaining)
-
Kakistos saw merit in providing a reason for creatures to attempt to cross his harsh unforgiving desert, so he created a lush green paradise on the other side, complete with a beach.
"It will be entertaining to watch the lesser beings of this world suffer across the desert." he says to himself amused.
Shape Land 2x 6 points. Total Points now at 3.
-
Round 3 (1000 - 1500)
:part redacted because editing broke it:
13 points: 8 (2d6) + 3 + 2
3 from last round
2 from having <5 points.
-
Rolling 2d6+5: (3+6)+5: Total = 14
2d6
2 for cumulative bonus for being 4 or lower.
and
3 from last round.
-
Rolling 2d6: (2+6): Total = 8
+4
(2 from last, 2 for bonus)
-
Rolling 2d6: (2+2): Total = 4
plus 5 from previous and 2 from being 5 or under for the last two rounds.
-
Porastun shapes the land on the southern part of the continent, bringing forth a beach and forest along the coast (6 points). He then sought to bring some life to the desert by creating a climate of high rain year round (2 points)...
(4 points left)
-
Vensilous expands his river again and this time adds a lake.
(3 inches of land transformation at 9 points leaving me with 2 points)
-
Heh, whoops. Forgot it was my turn.
Sekur Gisu looked upon the river and its connecting lake and new that civilizations in that area would need sensible building materials. In his benevolence, he surrounded the area with a solid granite valley.
(Shape land 3" - 9 pts, Shape Climate 2" - 4 pts = 0 Pts remaining)
-
Kakistos flew into a rage upon seeing his work undone, in his anger he destroyed the cavern filling it in with sand, and then dug a deep scar into the world where any mortal magic would be unable to function.
Event 10pts Anti-Magic Scar, Shape Land 3pts 14-13 = 1 pt. remaining. The area is still rainy I just have no idea how to fix that so if one of you would be so kind as to help me out I would appreciate it.
-
Rolling 2d6+4: (2+5)+4: Total = 11
-
Rolling 2d6: (3+3): Total = 6
-
Also you could probably play around with Transparency to put the rain and the scar in.
-
Rolling 2d6+2: (2+3)+2: Total = 7
-
Been pretty busy the past two weeks with midterms. Should I make up the turns I missed, or just jump in on the next one?
-
I don't think you missed any turns. Post rate isn't incredibly demanding I don't think we have skipped anyone.
-
Nope haven't missed any yet... I feel bad because I am the one that started the delay.
