Just a thought. I think the main aspects of character rolling would be which garishly saturated and unnatural colors you'd be suited in.

Sounds like a job for CARTOON ACTION HOUR! (http://www.zmangames.com/products/CAH/)

Huh, I guess there's nothing new, ever. That's the pessimist in me. The optimist says "Zaboolamafoo sausages please the hungriest of helicopters! Surely no-one's ever said that before!" You win, optimist, you win.

CARTOON ACTION HOUR is actually pretty awesome.  It even has rules for putting morals in the end of an episode.

That does sound neat. "What did you learn today, Prince Adam?" "Never let Skeletor get his hands on the Power Sword, even if you have to hold it while using the bathroom."

Is there some kind of rule about table-top RPG's and how silly the setting is? I'm guessing that if it's too silly then the game goes off the rails pretty quick. Could He-Man at all be a blend of silly and serious? Even the Ninja Turtles game works, as long as there's some seriousness to the story. If it was just something like "Rock-steady and Bebop open a disco club" then no-one would take it seriously. Right? Maybe that's part of the rles book you're pointing me to.

What if Man-at-Arms sets off to investigate the deaths of his father and baby brother when suddenly the family estate is overrun by flesh eating cyborg spiders. Turns out it's all a cover-up to stop people finding out that Castle Grey Skull was built by enslaved giants that were all ritually killed by Adam's Great Great Grandfather so that they would 'follow him to his afterlife'? Dun-dun-DUN!
