: Misc. Question
: Mckma June 15, 2011, 08:07:59 PM
So for my D&D campaign, I'm drawing a complete blank on what I think "is a thing," but I could be completely off-base...

Is there a word for a shop/person that sells spell components/stuff for rituals?  I tried a Google search and could really find anything.  I keep thinking apothecary, but that's technically more for medicine, and I thought there was a word more specifically for what I'm looking for, but once again, I could be completely wrong...

Alchemist?

Thank you.  This is what I was looking for.  Now I feel foolish for not remembering...

I was thinking apothecary, or herbalist. Or "Component Vendor"
Or an Emporiest, one who owns/runs an Emporium. "Mr. Magorium is a world famous emporiest."

A dealer.

I prefer chemist or apothecary over alchemist, but it depends on the context.

My pick though is Big Bill's Big Ass Thaumaturgical Supply and Adult Novelty Gifts Shop.
