Yesterday it was more or less un-accessible or lagging like no once business.
Does it have something to do with the amount of download that happens when a new episode drops, or something else?

Net maggots. When a domain near your own shuts down but the registry isn't updated to clear the space, the corpse of the website begins to fester on the server. The dead data provides a breeding ground for virii and eventually spawns data consuming errors that can 'crawl' into neighboring data stores and spew their digestive programs onto otherwise healthy files.
Or the webhost is doing some kind of adjustments. I like my theory better.

Okay, RPPR is hosted using a shared hosting plan via bluehost. This is not ideal because CPU usage is throttled and bandwidth throughput is limited, but shared hosting provides unlimited storage and bandwidth. RPPR uses like 3 TB of bandwidth a month on average. Upgrading to a VPS or better service would cost way too much for the amount of bandwidth and storage I use.
On Sunday, I activated cloudflare on a few sites to see if it would improve the speed of the RPPR sites. Cloudflare is a caching service but it takes 24 hours for it to cache the website for the first time.
I did not activate cloudflare on slangdesign.com itself because it has problems with the SMF forums. However, the AP site currently uses Cloudflare. I'll give it a week to see if the speed problems lessen.

Still a bit slow/rough. On a related note, something seems to be up with Caleb's Hebanon games website as well. Not slow, but the website seems to be "missing".

It seems you server is still being affected by the power outage. It has been brought to the admins attention and they are now working on the resolution. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Message from bluehost tech support. Hopefully they will fix it soon.
