Is anybody from the podcast (or the community) planning to go to any cons besides Gen Con this year? I might be heading to Fear the Con in St. Louis in mid-June. I'd love to go to Gen Con some year, but the university I work at tends to start their fall semester that week.

I will probably go to Gary Con in Lake Geneva, WI. I think there is large one in Milwaukee in the summer as well.

I am going to the HP Lovecraft Film Fest in Portland in April. Not a gaming con but quite a bit of fun. I need to poke around the Northwest con scene and see if there is anything that looks interesting.

Ross and I are talking about going to Fear the Con this year. We're trying to talk to their vendor now about the possibility of selling books, and I'm excited to try and get together an after hours playtest of Red Markets with strangers.
I'm also looking to playtest Red Markets at least once at GenCon this year, if I end up being able to attend.

Looks like I'll be going to PAX East as part of Pixelscopic to promote Delver's Drop. I'll have free time to run games though!

I think we'll most likely be at Fear the Con this year if we can get badges comped. I think the Red Markets thing would likely be an after hours thing. I'm not sure people are going to want to sign up for an alpha test game during the day, so I'll probably be running games from No Security and the upcoming Better Angels book

If it wasn't for the fact that Gen Con is pretty much my one big trip per year I would totally try to make it over the mountains to St. Louis for Fear the Con. Drats. :(
I would totally recommend Revelations and/or The Fall Without End there Caleb. They really feel like they'd work well in a con game type environment, especially in something rules light like Cthulhu Dark. Better Angels can definitely be interesting at a con, I played in one of Greg Stolze's Gen Con games and boy, oh boy did that get ugly. The whole anecdote in the ORE panel about a guy almost hard-boiling his daughter, that was me. But anyway, something Eclipse Phase could be cool too, Continuity or Think Before Asking run with sample characters would probably work well. Those are my suggestions, hope they help and that you guys have a good time!

Wife and I will be vending Pax East at the Eclectic Eccentricities booth.
We'll be sure to try to find Pixelscopic booth to say hi to Ross. Anyone else doing Pax?

I'm heading to Planet Comicon this year. I know they will be having a gaming room, but no specifics on what is being played.

I'm planning on hitting 4 to 5 Conventions this year.
The first is ECCC, Emerald city Comic Con, followed by SakuraCon the month following. On the fence about PAX Prime but definitely going to Gen Con and lastly Aki-Con in October.
Other than Gen Con the others are all about business for me. Mostly for the costume contests and catch up time with friends. I don't get to see them a whole lot due to my work schedule.

Good to hear about Fear the Con! I hope to see you there! Caleb, do you expect to have print copies of No Security available there for purchase? If so, I might delay asking for it for my birthday in May...

I think Dragoncon's in Atlanta... Doesn't SPX happen in San Francisco? But that's more an indie comics thing.
