: Cool things on the internet that people don't know about.

I'll Start

Here is NASA life satellite image stream of our planet ( https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/ (https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/) ) . It's two images of every spot on earth every day.   Want to see what the view over Iceland on the 12th of Augustus 2013 ?  It was like this ( http://go.nasa.gov/1NiTQk6 (http://go.nasa.gov/1NiTQk6) ).  DO you want more detail ?  Then go here ( http://lance-modis.eosdis.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/imagery/realtime.cgi (http://lance-modis.eosdis.nasa.gov/cgi-bin/imagery/realtime.cgi) )

It's also free to use for most purposes ( http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/guidelines/index.html (http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/guidelines/index.html) )

What else is out there on the internet that I need to see ?

This is an oldy but a goody, it is an interactive Scale of the Universe, allowing users to put into perspective, say, the difference between an earthworm, a hydrogen atom, and a neutron star.

On the other end of the spectrum, here is the wiki for the Flat Earth Society.  Ohohoho.

Along the lines of the Scale of the Universe, how about a visualizer of the Solar System: https://janus.astro.umd.edu/SolarSystems/ (https://janus.astro.umd.edu/SolarSystems/)

Related to the Scale of the Universe is another very old piece about the power of 10. I seem to recall that Feynman was involved (but I am a bit foggy about it).
