Hello everyone! Annual GenCon planning thread is a bit late this time around in large part because I went through a round about way to get my housing this year and wasn't as focused on stuff. But, now that the rush for housing has ended the time for more detailed organization begins!

I've been wondering about running some games at GenCon and would be interested in running them for RPPR fans. Probably better than a random batch of players.

We're going to record a live episode on Friday at 6 pm - well that's the event I just submitted.
Also I will run DG: Observer Effect Thursday at 11 am.
Might do a panel or two. Not sure yet.

What are the meet up plans this year? I don't see an event for it this time around, just the live episode.

I am real excited for the meet-up. Circumstances always seem to prevent me from attending the whole thing, but hopefully not this year. I'll actually be running a session of Observer Effect as well - it starts at 1:00 PM on Thursday.
On another note:
Is anyone looking to trade up from an airport hotel? If so, I have a room I can transfer to you. To be clear, this is still some distance - but it's 2.5 miles instead of 7-8+ miles, like an airport hotel is.

"Hey Folks
The Discord channel is mostly fans and friends of the RPPR folks. We hang out and play video games together or just talk and BS some nights. It's a group that started from the Gen Con crew that meet up every year and has gotten bigger than that.
It is not run or maintained by any of the RPPR crew and it is its own entity. People are welcome to hang out and join us in games we play but we ask that folks respect boundaries and play nice in the chat and the voice channels.
Our main rules have always been "Don't be a dick" and "No posting actual porn". Other than those have fun and be cool."
To add to this I have set up a voice channel on the discord for folks who want to chat on the drive, for some of us it's rather long.

Hey, Aaron here. As promised here is the information for both After-Hours games that I will be doing (most likely on Thursday and Saturday evening):
Thursday:
Delta Green - Avatar War
Players: 4-6
Game Synopsis: While in the middle of a green box reclamation mission in Santa Fe, a group of agents discover half of the registered contents either missing or burned beyond recognition. Upon further investigation, the operatives on site discover the agent responsible for managing the box dead in his home with his body in an advanced state of decomposition. Strange iconography was also found in the agents house, burned into the drywall with what appears to be an organic acid of unknown origin. Your cell has been activated in order to investigate the connection to the Santa Fe green box and contain or eliminate any threat to the public.
Saturday:
Delta Green - Gone, But Not Forgotten
Players: 4-6
Game Synopsis: While working on a mandatory landscaping job at a small cemetery outside of Portland Oregon, groundskeepers on site discovered an individual frantically attempting to dig up a grave. The individual,Carl Adams, claimed he was trying to save the deceased, Alec Shelton, a friendly DG contact who provided analysis for the company two years ago. Adams, a co-worker of Sheton at a local aerospace firm, claimed no knowledge of his actions when interviewed by authorities, stating he only had minimal contact with Shelton at work. Security camera footage at the cemetery since Shelton's death 6 months ago revealed Adams and four other individuals attempting to crudely exhume Sheltons' body at separate times. Now Delta Green has called in an investigation in order to ascertain why these individuals are trying to recover Shelton's body and what importance it may hold.
I will announce the final times through the GroupMe GenCon announcement thread. Pre-Gens will be available for everyone.

I'm not at Gen Con, but I hope no one minds me asking this here: Has there been any news about Ken Whitman's Spinward Traveller at this year's Gen Con? I seem to recall hearing that Whitman promised to definitely, positively, absolutely release the trailer no later than Gen Con 2017.
I'm not a backer of the kickstarter, I'm just curious (and a little amazed at Whitman's ability to repeatedly con people out of their money).
