Ross thought all you forum folks might enjoy a preview of the Goblin Hulk Cover Illustration I just finished up for him. The full image wraps around this time, so there's more hulk to be had when the module comes out.

There's also some previews of the Shoggothic Hosts Here (http://artfulshrapnel.blogspot.com/2009/09/i-mad3-n-4rt-w1th-zombeez-n-1t.html) and a step by step of how this cover came together Here. (http://artfulshrapnel.blogspot.com/2009/09/goblin-hulk-and-zombeez.html)

I've got one more piece going in the book, the Goblin Artillerist. That one is super secret, so I can't show you it yet. (Read: I'm not done with it yet but don't want to tell you.)

So what do you all think? Am I hitting everyone's mental image of the Hulk?

Nice! Not only did you find waldo, you saw through my clever ruse!

A thousand bonus points to you, Maze. Interestingly enough, that's exactly the number of points you need for one of the PC A Day sketches I do every night. :) Currently I'm on a run of characters from the Hulk game, so if you were one of the players from the podcast or have a character from your own playing of the setting I could put yours in as part of the "Hulk Release Drawings".

Check out the first one at http://artfulshrapnel.blogspot.com (http://artfulshrapnel.blogspot.com) with another Hulk character coming each day.

Can you draw the mercenaries that the players hired to guard their water?

o_0.... I could, in theory. But I can't for the life of me remember their descriptions. I remember there was like Bite and Stab the warriors, and there was some noble warrior type guy.

Do you recall their descriptions, or the episode they were described in?

I think bite and stab were the rival adventureing company that have an airship. The iron Hearts or something like that. The People they hired were the Bronze Hammers? wich Watcher was the leader of there the same race as him.

Ah, so a whole band of warforged? I like drawing warforged because they have faces like :3 .If someone can help me recall the general makeup of the group and a rough description, or point me to the episode they're in, I'll do an art of them for the boards. :)

The players hired a NPC group of mercs called the bronze hammers. They were led by Watcher, a NPC warforged fighter until Mike took the character over. I haven't really described the PCs soldiers any more than that.

The Iron Hearts are a rival band of adventurers. They are led by Sir Redgar a noble fighter. Bite, Stab and Kill are 3 barbarian brothers - bite is a ranger, stab is a rogue and kill is a barbarian. They also have a female elven wizard I think. Forgot her name. They are the 'generic' adventurers who go on dungeon crawls, save princesses and so on. They don't care about political power or fucking the world up or making deals with liches.

They also have an airship.

Which they crashed at some point, didn't they?
: Re: Goblin Hulk Cover Preview
: clockworkjoe September 29, 2009, 12:35:01 AM
If they did, they fixed it quickly. I make it a point to give the Iron Hearts cool stuff to make the players jealous.

I just remember that as an aside in one of the APs and thought it was funny because my PCs did something similar around the same time. I think you used it to explain why Rip or Gut or one of those guys was in town.

Ah, okay. Then yeah, I'd be happy to do a Bronze Hammers painting starring Watcher and his not-so-merry soldiers.

I have a Cortez painting for today.

Dunno how I feel about this one. Might try a redo from a different angle and with different lighting.
