July and August (and Novemeber) have been historically some of our slowest months period. We only have the forum stats for the last year available on this site, but if you would go back and look at the old forum stats you'd see that it has been pretty consistent. The fact that we are averaging around 1500 posts a month (roughly 50 a day) for this calendar year is a good sign because it means the forums are starting to pick up.

Well, this is a corporation after all. We produced goods (supplements) that we sell (ransom). We just are usually quiet about the business part of it on the forums because that's where the fun happens.

Half the forums are here at the Con. We've got Ross, Tom, Aaron, Jason, Murph, ristarr, ArtfulSharpnel and myself.
My hotel has a limited number of people who can be using the net at a given time so my access has been close to random.

All the talk of cons and stuff with RPPR has gotten me really interested in attending one. Maybe I should look into attending one during the school year with a few friends...

I'm marveling at how fast Ewen grew in 2 weeks. He's now 22 1/4" (up 1/2" from birth) and 9lb 12 1/2oz (up from 9lb 7 1/2oz from birth).

Rest assured, there is somebody nastier than you at GenCon. Wow, this one brings everybody out into the sunlight. And god damn but there are some hot nerds too. And they can come down the hallway at the same time. It's... esoteric.

What have I been up to?
Went to my grandfather's funeral and visited my other grandfather in the hospital. Editing things for my publisher and I just bought Fallout 3 on my PS3 because I am behind the times and because it was on sale for $8.

in hindsight I wish I had made that chapter more clear on the rules - re-reading I could see where some people might get tripped up by a few things

And yes, the competitions listed in the chapter are kind of confusing - I'm thinking about just making them threats or something.

the part I left out is that they are opposed challenges - use Chris Crash, Sally Slash and Billy Brash and minor monsters as the opposition.
For the race: 5 opposed Feet + P.E. checks by the PCs and the eternal glades NPCs
Capture the flag: Run it as a battle more or less
