Hook is a super badass movie.  Dustin Hoffman is sublime as Cap'n Hook, AND they managed to make Julia Roberts look hot!  Not a simple feat my friends.

I got the Chessex pound o dice for my birthday last year.  It only came with like three d4, but otherwise, it's super neat.  Definately more d20s than I could possibly need.  Not to mention a real visceral pleasure in holding a pound of dice.  8)

I just used it as an excuse to dust off my copy of Empire.

"I thought these things smelled bad on the outside!"

In a bold move revealing my general technological ignorance I admit the following:

...I can't figure out how to get the community APs onto my iphone   :-[

Please do not mock my ignorance, for my fragile ego could not withstand the full onslaught of the RPPR Community!

Funny was the resurrected Wicked Witch of the West, in a denmother uniform complete with sword and board shorts, and the first word out of her mouth is, "Aloha."
I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.  I mean, my wife came in to make sure I wasn't dying when she heard me hit the floor.

This.  I was driving at the time, I had to pull over, I couldn't see the road through my tears.  Made my wife listen to it, from the selection of the ingrediants right up until "Aloha".  Pure comic gold.  Thanks Ross.

At first I was scared because I thought you were somehow affiliated with the Order 66 Podcast.

Nah, GM Dave doesn't give two craps about systems other than Saga, and you KNOW GM Chris likes to use...punctuation? Basic fuckin sentence structure?  Anyone?  This thing on?...

I was in the middle of a 5 year haitus from D&D when my wife met me.  When I got the itch to play again, she was super supportive, to the point of learning how to play.  She likes the tactical battle of 4e, but she's a little unsure of the whole "role playing" aspects.  I'm currently gearing up to run a Trail of Cthulu scenario for her and my family, so she can get a better idea of what's going on.

She's not nearly as into the whole thing as I, but overall she rocks.  And thank goodness man, if I had to listen to a bunch of shit it might drive me to divorce.

Man Ross's dice were on fire for this scenario. Talk about saving the day

I'm a big fan of Ross as a player, and I love Tom's deadpan delivery of Grady's lines.

Kudos to Tom, that was a really great scenario.

Thanks! What are you running right now?

We have an ongoing 4e Eberron campaign that we rotate DM responsabilities.  I'm in the middle of reading Trail of Cthulu, and a buddy just hooked me up with a compendium of all the Dragonlance modules in 2nd edition.  Idly contemplating converting those to 4e, or just stepping into the wayback machine and running them AD&D style.  Also have a buddy gearing up for a nWoD one-shot, which I'm VERY excited for, and another buddy wanting to kick the tires on Warhammer Fantasy.  I'm just absolutly dying to play in a CoC scenario, I just have to convince someone to run it.  Also taught my wife, mom, and little sister the wonders of 4e, and now my wife has started DMing a little family game on Sundays.  Adorable!

Greetings fellow nerds.  I'm Josh, I live in Austin TX.  I've been gaming since my grandfather introduced me to AD&D when I was thirteen, back in the year of our lord, 1996.  I have really only played D&D, with very brief side tracks into shadowrun, cyberpunk, and battletech.  Only recently have I taken up the mantle of DM, and I have found both the podcasts and the actual plays here at RPPR to be excellent for fostering ideas.  Not to mention extremely amusing.  They've also sparked a real desire for more variety of games, whetting my appetite for wonders such a Monsters and other Childish Things, and Call of Cthulu.  So to Ross, Tom and the rest of the RPPR crew... a Salute.

I also like kender...*cringe*
