General Chaos / Re: Good anime series?

I'm probably gonna get askew looks for this but:

I like Saint Seiya (please, not Knights of the Zodiac, but Saint Seiya).  You'll probably have to get a version in Japanese with English sub.  The subbing is usually a little bad for the earlier eps, but the more recent ones - like the Hades episodes are ok.

Also, Hades Project Zeorymer is okay for giant mech action.

If martial arts and gore are your thing, The Fist of the North Star is pretty ok.

Also, I found Karas interesting.

Wraith: The Oblivion

Hardest game to run and hardest game to play, but if you can get the right people together then shit is fucking magic.

RPGs / Re: Bad GM habits

I sometimes reiterate descriptions a bit too much.  And I sometimes get hung up on words - they don't come quick enough.  I've always been better with writing than speaking.  Also, I tend to jump from game to game too much or I never follow through on a game I tell players I plan to run.  It's as though I just become interested in other games or I see something that gives me inspiration to run a different game.  I love horror.  And I tend to interject the theme into many of the games I run.  I even ran a horror-themed Exalted game once.  Most of the players I know don't like horror as much as I do, so it ends up bad sometimes.

<a href="" target="_blank" class="aeva_link bbc_link new_win"></a>

was quite enoyable.  Especially close to the end.  Dude.  The Curly eyepoke?  Rly?  That's what it is now?  I'm Moe now?  I think I would've just put on my shoes after that too.

:D  That's good to know.  For a while I thought CoC was like a computer: 6 months after you buy it, it's obsolete.  I was about to say screw it.  I'm just gonna have to settle for the Windows 98 of Cthulhu rules.  And anyone who had a problem could just buy me another computer . . .

. . . wait . . . that's not right . . . yeah, it is . . . no it's not.

Name's Vince.
I'm from Detroit and I've been a gamer since . . . well . . . umm. . .

Well, the first rpg book I evr had was the AD&D 2e Monster Manual.  I got it for Christmas sometime in the mid to late '80's.  I didn't even know how it was really supposed to be used.  But it really helped me with ideas and inspiration for my drawing.  The first adventure I got was Baltron's Beacon for 2e AD&D.

Today, I love gaming but it's hard for me to join a group.  I don't have a car anymore and all of my friends have moved out of Detroit. My favorite system to run is Call of Cthulhu (Chaosium - I just wish they'd stop coming out with new editions so often).

I guess I draw a lot of inspiration from zombie and ghost flicks.  A guy on the Red Spire Press Forums once told me: "horror is 95% threat and 5% conflict".

I hope to enjoy my tme here.  Great to meet everyone.

I thought that guys like that were just Holywood comedy stereotypes of nerds.  As a self confessed geek (and proud of it), I've gotta say he gives me a headache in my eye.

So, all I have to do is pick a class and jot down all that's provided for me?  Do you still want u to provide a short backstory as well?  Are there any caracter classes off limts right now (Taken by other players)?  Psyker is looking interesting, but I don't want to overly endanger the group by having too many potential Empyrean nukes walking around in it. :)
