1. Shift has got to chuck that bitch over the railing. The catwalk isn't  50 feet so it won't kill her, and it might knock her out.  Even if it doesn't knock her out, the weapons are all on the catwalk after the disarm and she'll be prone for a round; it'll reduce her threat greatly and allow shift to immediately grab the .50 (WHICH WE NEED NEED NEED FOR CANDIDE AND HIS SPORE CANNON)

Ross said there is also a one shot anti tank rocket up there that does awesome super area damage. Just an F.Y.I. to help you feel better.

Also, concerning the "team" issue, the last I checked we had the following:

Decent offensive and defensive tacticians,
Information specialists hacking safe routes for us
and a decently armed backup as well.

Decent offensive and defensive tacticians, They have killed some of us, we have killed none of them.
Information specialists hacking safe routes for us (One is going to try, but that has not started yet)
and a decently armed backup as well. There is no backup at all, we are on our own.

We have been playing defensive from the beginning, we need to take the initiative.

We need to be acting like a team. This lone wolf shit is just going to get us all killed.

Also:

Ross what are the rules of engagement for this battle?

or more directly...

Can I put a compact group of 9mm slugs in the syndicate goon's head (As opposed to non-lethal take-downs) without the New Arcadia Police wanting to talk to me?

1. It is unlikely that whatever city Paragon retreats to will be able to stop her.  She tried to destabilize the entire govt. of California for some evil plot; god knows what evil she will achieve unrestricted.

I am also in favor of attacking the syndicate, and that is the only reason I need. I am leaving town for a week on Friday afternoon. If any of you say no to this request I completely understand, but can we hold off on the major offensive until I am back in town? (This is the first vacation I've been able to take with my family in years.)

As I said, if not, I completely understand, and I will leave Zero-Shift with Ross just in case he's needed for something.

let me know if I missed any important events

We had our first good press, after the events at the temple of the Crystal Children.

Led by an Army veteran named Tyler, they forced the recruiters to abandon the camp. "What we worked out is their words can't hurt if they can't be heard, sonificiation wise so we out talked them vis a vie sociopolitical ramifications of their ideologicalisms" Tyler said.

Best. NPC. EVER.

Agreed.

Police stop robot assassin from killing hospitalized witness! A flying robot attempted to kill a government witness against the syndicate by flying through his window and attacking. Two police officers detected the robot's presence and forced the soulless automaton to retreat.

Have no fear citizens; we will bring this dangerous criminal to justice.

The Fixer is active: The engimatic middle man and fence is reported to be working yet once again. Infamous for his dealings with both hero and villain, the Fixer is able to provide connections between metahumans - introducing wounded vigilantes to psychic healers for example. Of course, he charges a small fee for his services.

Bloodhound the Bounty Hunter
: A notorious metahuman tracker and bounty hunter, Bloodhound is back in the game. Real name unknown, Bloodhound was a free agent back in the days when being independent was nearly impossible. Given the sheer number of wanted metahumans, it is assumed he is making the big bucks taking them down.

Do either of these articles go into any detail about what they are doing now, like ya know, the things I hired them to do?

My favored class is the stealthy rogue. If I can supplement that with a plethora of social skills so much the better. (Though New Arcadia is the first game where I have had to voice my character.)

What I have noticed more than what I like to play, is one that looses effectiveness throughout a game session. Spell slots be the devils work.

Some friends of mine run this blog The Ontological Geek, they wax philosophic on table top and video gaming. Everything from games as art to rules analysis. ::Shrugs:: They have a facebook page too, if you are into that kind of thing.

Thanks,

Background:
Jack Le'Rond started out the way most super hero's do; Rich and bored. He burned through 90% of his trust before his twenties. While he was at the bank one day, a group of armed men entered and started to rob the place. The police surrounded the bank, and Jack was one of the many hostages. It was such a rush, way better than base jumping or cliff diving. He took little part in the robbery, but started an intense training regime after the events.

Shortly there after, Jack Be Nimble was prowling the streets; protecting citizens from crooks, bandits, and super-villains. Ideal didn't like that Jack was fighting super-villains, but they didn't really mind too much. However, Jack was captured by Ideal many times, for vigilante justice against un-powered criminals.

Jack would serve his time, be released (or escape), and then be re-captured soon after for vigilante justice. He was captured so many times, that Ideal implanted a house arrest device in one of his legs. He was in their custody during Raganrok. He only tried to escape days after the event (Because nobody had brought him food). Because he was in Ideal custody, Jack knows a little more about Raganrok than most, but still just a minute amount. The arrest device can be used to scan for Ideal bases, but only because he'll be shocked when they're nearby.

Offically Jack Le'Rond was dead, killed in Ragnarok. In reality he sold looted ideal tech to Omega. They jacked up his nervous system with a molecular mater transporter. Zer0-Shift was born; Shepard of the helpless.
