I think I'm going to bow-out. I thought I might be able to fit another game into my schedule, but I recently lost my job, and I'm spending damn-near all of my time looking for a new one.

The irony is that I'm working harder to find a job than I did when I had one.  ;D

The Repairman Jack series, but F. Paul Wilson. Repairman Jack is a man who specializes in fixing problems not suitable by the police. Jack has removed himself from the public system in order to be an urban "ghost". This would be a cool series if it was just that, but then throw in some Lovecraftian mythos in the mix, and you get an uber-cool series!  ;D

Also check out the series of Monster novels by David Wellington. The Monster series is Monster Island, then Monster Nation, and finally Monster Planet. David has taken the zombie novel and turned it on it's rotten ear!!! Picture a world of George Romero zombies, but add in the twist that if a person died in such a situation in which their brain was still getting oxygen, then that person turned into a zombie with super powers!!! Each super zombie was unique in nature. This was a very cool series. I loved it.

I'm a big big fan of percentile based skills and powers. It just seems so logical to me.

I had forgotten that FASA's old games were also percentile based, so I'm now borrowing a metric ton of FASA Star Trek game books from a friend who has a real nice collection, and I'm scanning them all and making them into PDFs so I can have my own copies of the books. Once I get the Star Trek books scanned, I'm going to try and fire-up a pbp Star Trek game!  ;D

Hey guys,

To re-introduce myself, my name is Jon, and I'm 41 years old. I used to play the Call of Cthulhu, DnD, Traveller, Gamma World, Marvel Superheroes, and tons of board games.

Now, I'm trying to restart my gaming via play-by-post games since a "live" gaming session just won't fit into my current lifestyle.  :(

My wife and I just had our first kid, (my son Cole just turned two months old), and to try and put a gaming session into my life right now would tork-off the old lady!!!   :)
