I backed it. Also backed Tales of the Loop.

Question for anyone who run a game Base Raiders in Mutants and Masterminds 3e and was wonder how they handled Power level when acquiring new powers that pushing them past PL?

Did you look at my conversion guide? The goal is to not allow a PC to become super overpowered. Give them disadvantages to counter-balance or have them remove other powers to lower the point cost.

Ross, you have teased a Base Raider's campaign for ages... would you be willing to give us any idea how long it will be until the first episode is unveiled?

Probably February - once the HSD 4 part game is done, I'll put in Base Raiders.

I just merged your post with the existing base raiders thread. Check it out! There's a lot of cool stuff in it.

As for your question, I left out loot value for power sources in the main book. Vintage Villainy has the formula.

Role Playing Public Radio Podcast / Re: Question regarding the Patreon
« on: December 06, 2016, 01:32:39 AM »
I recently changed the description of the Patreon to reflect this new level of bonus content:

Quote
Special Podcasts: Every once in a while, we create a special podcast just for the $5 backers and above. These can be actual plays, commentaries, or anything else. There's no set schedule for these podcasts, so keep an eye out for them!

To elaborate more - these podcasts are NOT guaranteed to show up every month. They're basically podcasts that I don't know where else to put. They do not go on the main podcast (at least for a while) and may never show up anywhere else.

As for the $2 level, it reads:

Quote
Receive a monthly podcast called RPPR After Hours and RPPR Illustrated. In After Hours, the regulars of RPPR discuss obscure gaming products, pop culture, and everything else we don't talk about in the main podcasts. If we produce more than 1 episode of After Hours a month, you will receive it. RPPR Illustrated depicts a scene from our AP podcast, suitable as a desktop wallaper.

You get After Hours, Wod The Heck/Palladium Poisoning, and the desktop wallpaper. That's over 3 hours of bonus podcasts a month and the wallpaper image. That's all.

Just finished Invisible Cities. Excellent! I will have to read it again next year.

Picked up 14 by Peter Cline. Architectural spookiness!

I'll probably start posting more APs as bonuses to $5 and up patreon backers so I'll put the RPPR run of BRIGHT REDOUBT up in the next few weeks. I'll probably post it to the AP feed next time I have a hole in the schedule or in the next B-Sides if I haven't put it in anything by then.

Dennis is per item of content, not monthly, and he posts several things per month. But anywho, it will come out sooner or later, so no biggie.

Are these ever going to be publicly available? Or do I have to give Dennis money?

They will go up on RPPR Actual Play when the book is published.

We have to schedule and record the game first. Caleb is insanely busy between red markets, school, and personal stuff (like going to weddings). Faust just moved to Washington. Once we get a better handle on scheduling, we can record the game.

RPGs / Re: Suggestions for New Campaign Setting?
« on: November 10, 2016, 02:45:45 AM »
That seems perfectly straight forward, but not really a NBA campaign. I would use Feng Shui 2 for a pure action game or a universal system like Savage Worlds or maybe CoC for pure horror. NBA really works best in games where stealth and espionage is involved. Maybe set in a city near the zone where weird stuff is happening (things leaking out) OR someone put a crate of vampires in a plane and shipped to some distant locale?

Some of the scenarios are written up here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/122756/No-Security-Horror-Scenarios-in-the-Great-Depression

Masks of Nyarlathotep is here: http://www.chaosium.com/masks-of-nyarlathotep-pdf/

Sense of the Sleight of Hand Man is here: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/116929/The-Sense-of-the-SleightofHand-Man-A-Dreamlands-Campaign-for-Call-of-Cthulhu

Not all of the APs have published materials. Some are run just using handwritten notes. Were there any others in particular you wanted to know more about?
