To wet your whistle on Dresden Codak, you should really just start with this.

Dungeons and Discourse: The Premiere Philosophy Roleplaying Game.

Sorry meant to post earlier.

If you enjoy comics, especially if you enjoy comics and some of the major themes in Eclipse Phase, you should check out Aaron Diaz's comic, Dresden Codak. His whole archive is free to read and it is as fantastic as it is beautiful. He is having a Kickstarter to collect his first five years of Dresden Codak into well made hardback books. The Kickstarter has already made and as of this writing it only has 17 hours left, but you should do yourself a favor and check out the comic and if you really love it, give to the Kickstarter.

Let us know how The Quiet Year goes. I'm very interested in that game.

Hey Ross,

Sorry to bother you, I know you've been away from them for a while, but I'm newer to the group and just decided to go back and listen to the New World campaign, and the blubrrry audio widget isn't coming up for Episode 3. Do you have a mirror or it archived on another site? Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Anyone know where I can get my hands on some quality Mage: The Ascension Actual Play Podcasts? I've had pretty decent luck finding Hunter: The Vigil ones, but have only found one Mage game over at Nerdbound. I'm trying to broaden my horizons in gaming and Mage has captured my imagination as of right now. Thanks for the help.

Update: I meant Mage: The Awakening not the Ascension. Sorry it was quite late. Though I would love to listen to both.

Caleb,

Quick follow up, how did the team leave things with Ord Brown?  I can't exactly remember and i was wondering how he might come into play post -heist.

Thanks again for any help you can give.

Caleb,

Just for clarification, Cleary and Dutch was an LLA bank correct? The LLA would want to reinforce their position of power by "resolving" the heist as quickly as possible, correct? Or would they not care and the Lunar Banking Consortium would be interested in investigating, or would it just be left to Cleary and Dutch? Or would all three have  a stake in it? Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just finished reading through "The Fall Without End". Can't wait to get to play through it, but for now I'll just listen to the Actual Play again.

Thanks @Gorkamorka! I found The Walking Eye Actual play after I posted last night, but I did not know about the bundle. I like the setting because it seems like you could do a whole lot with it, and it seems to have a Firefly meets alternate universe Jedi feel to it. I'll definitely pick it up. I'd like to see Ross or Caleb run it with the crew, but I'd like to see them run everything I'm interested in. Thanks again. @clockworkjoe @cthuluzord

I have a general layout for a story but I'm still deciding on which part of the campaign I want to put it in. I am equal parts intimidated and elated to have a chance to step onto Caleb's playground. We'll see if I can take enough Murder to give me the confidence to actually post. Thanks for the opportunity either way.

Has anyone had a chance to play or read "Dogs in the Vineyard" by Lumpley Games? The setting seems ripe with possibility and has piqued my interest. I feel like it could get DARK fast. If you haven't heard of it, here is an in depth review from Gnome Stew. http://www.gnomestew.com/specific-rpgs/a-look-at-dogs-in-the-vineyard/

Oh, I know, I don't doubt Caleb's ability to turn any game into what he wants it to be, but I was just surprised that he was thinking about Better Angels, based on the tone of it that I perceived without having read the book or .pdf.

Also, Caleb if you were thinking about Zombies, and wanted a twist, you could check out Unhallowed Metropolis. It's a zombie game set in Victorian Steampunk England. It's gotten great reviews. You might have just thrown up a little at that suggestion, and if so, please just ignore it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0981679285/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1/187-1419341-8983966?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_r=1MRF8TV0VF7GQ8X8WJ1Y&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_p=486539851&pf_rd_i=0971064296

A Dirty World campaign would be tons of fun in my opinion(though I don't have the book so I don't even know if the rules have character advancement)  but I also think that Night's Black Agents sounds like a great game and setting.

Not that I doubt Caleb at all, but just from reading stuff on the Kickstarter, I got the impression that Better Angels was very toungue-in-cheek. Did I completely misunderstand the tone of the game?

I would love to see your take on the World of Darkness universe, run with either Mage or Hunter. I think those are the most feasible and story ready supplements. It would be fun to see how creative the players could get with the Mage powers and how creative you could be to stump/challenge them. All the different factions or Hunter could be very interesting, especially using a modified rep system from Eclipse Phase.

Also, is it possible to make a legitimate campaign in "A Dirty World"? Because, that could be really cool as well.
