Servitor races of Coddowalshagoth would be themed around pain and blood. They could also be crustaceans of some sort.

Inspiration for artists (I just did a google search)

dude, no one would fuck with a team with that as a mascot.  shit I wouldn't even step onto the field/court  to play.

My I also suggest the scotoplanes also known as the sea pig.

Oh my god, I just google imaged a scotoplane........I'm gonna have nightmares.

The best part of the scotoplane is the four tentacles that grow out of their back that they use to stabilize themselves when they walk along the ocean floor.

If I owned a major sports team, I would name them the Scotoplanes. Go Scotoplanes!

Are the beer and pretzels a must?  Don't get me wrong, I love beer, but I'm not too keen on pretzels.  Bullshitting aside, this looks like a bunch of fun.

Pretzels, peanuts, kelp crackers...whatever salty snack you like with your beer would be fine.

I'm feeling tortilla chips and hummus.

Anyone got any helpful tips to running a successful Call of Cthulhu game?  I'm running my first one in a couple weeks and would greatly appreciate any pointers.
